Its strongest case rests on the screen and battery, while camera consistency, Magic OS and price are the main reasons to pause. Reviews cited here date primarily from 2024, so they do not establish whether the phone is a good buy at 2026 prices or against newer models.
What the HONOR Magic6 Pro offers
HONOR’s flagship pitch centers on an LTPO display, a silicon-carbon battery and a multi-camera system. The manufacturer’s UK specification page lists a 6.8-inch display; that is the diagonal measured to a standard rectangle, and the actual viewable area is slightly smaller. The same page specifies a 180MP periscope telephoto camera, 2.5x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom and video recording up to 4K at 60fps. These are UK-listed specifications, and regional configurations may differ.

HONOR Magic6 Pro pros
Large display is a standout
TechRadar and Android Authority both praise the display in their reviews. The large LTPO panel is a defining part of the phone’s appeal if you want ample screen space for video, reading or everyday use. Those are reviewers’ assessments, not results from a controlled test conducted for this article.

Battery and charging are strong points
Android Authority reports more than a day of battery life in its review and praises fast charging; TechRadar also highlights the battery. That makes endurance and charging capability among the clearest reasons to consider the phone, though a review result is not a promise of the same runtime for every user or usage pattern.
Versatile camera hardware
The rear setup combines a high-resolution main camera, an ultrawide camera and a periscope telephoto approach for longer-range shots. HONOR UK lists the telephoto unit at 180MP, with 2.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. The spec sheet establishes the hardware and zoom figures; it does not establish that every zoom level produces equally useful results.

Launch-era reviewers saw flagship-level strengths
Android Authority judged the Magic6 Pro capable of matching or exceeding more expensive flagships in some core areas. That is a review assessment from the phone’s launch period, not a current head-to-head comparison with 2026 phones.

HONOR Magic6 Pro cons
Camera results can be inconsistent
TechRadar says the cameras do not hit the mark every time, while Android Authority notes caveats for the most demanding mobile photographers. The camera array is versatile, but its specifications alone should not settle the decision if consistent results are your top priority.

Magic OS may not feel as polished
TechRadar criticizes the Magic OS experience relative to Apple’s iOS and Samsung’s One UI, and describes the phone’s AI offering as underdeveloped. These are that reviewer’s opinions from its review, not objective benchmarks. The available evidence does not establish the current software version or the phone’s update-support period.
Price needs a current check
Tech Advisor flags the high price as a consideration. For historical context only, GSMArena reported a 12GB RAM / 512GB storage configuration launching in Europe and the UK in February 2024 at €1,299 / £1,100. Those are launch prices, not current offers or prices that apply universally. Whether the phone represents good value now depends on local price, condition, configuration and alternatives.

Large format and design are personal considerations
The phone’s large format and distinctive design may or may not suit your preferences. The available review material does not provide a standardized comfort or durability test, so it cannot support a general claim about how comfortable or durable the device is.

It is worth considering if a large, well-regarded display, battery life, fast charging and camera versatility are more important to you than having the most polished software experience or the most consistent camera results. It is a less straightforward choice if software refinement is a priority, you are a particularly demanding mobile photographer, or its local price is close to newer options you are also considering.
Before buying, check the price and stock in your region, the exact storage and model configuration, seller and device condition, network compatibility, and the update policy applicable to your market. Compare alternatives on camera consistency and useful zoom, display size and quality, battery and charging, software experience and support, and current value. The launch-era reviews cited here do not provide a controlled comparison with 2026 alternatives.
Verdict
The HONOR Magic6 Pro makes a compelling launch-era all-round flagship case for people who prioritize its large display, battery and charging capabilities, and flexible camera hardware. The camera caveats, reviewer criticism of Magic OS and the need to assess current local pricing keep it from being an automatic recommendation. Buy it only if those strengths fit your priorities and the price, regional configuration and software-support terms check out for you.
