The HONOR 200 Pro is a capable all-rounder built around portrait photography: it pairs a versatile triple-camera system with a vivid, high-refresh curved display, a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery and fast wired and wireless charging. Its main qualification is value: the £699.99 figure reported by Tech Advisor was the UK launch price in 2024, not a current price. Whether it is a good buy now depends on the price and configuration available in your market.
What the HONOR 200 Pro gets right
HONOR’s UK product page calls the phone its “Portrait Master,” a manufacturer description rather than an independent verdict. The portrait emphasis is backed by a camera setup with a dedicated telephoto lens, while the rest of the hardware makes the phone useful beyond photography.

- A versatile camera combination, including a 2.5x optical telephoto camera with optical image stabilization.
- A vivid curved display with an adaptive 60Hz-to-120Hz refresh rate, as described by TechRadar.
- A 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery and reported 100W wired and 66W wireless charging.
- Reviewers judged its everyday performance strong for its class during the 2024 review period.
How good are the cameras?
The rear system combines a 50MP main camera, a 50MP 2.5x telephoto camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. TechRadar reports optical image stabilization on both the main and telephoto cameras; the ultra-wide camera also supports macro focusing. That gives the phone more flexibility for portraits and distant subjects than a setup relying only on a main lens and digital crop.
These specifications describe the hardware, not a guarantee that every shot will look the same. Results depend on the scene, lighting and processing, and the available review material does not establish a complete set of comparable lab measurements. The camera system is the clearest reason to consider this model if portraits and framing flexibility matter to you.

What are the display and performance like?
TechRadar describes the display as bright and vivid, with an adaptive refresh rate that shifts between 60Hz and 120Hz. That is the reviewer’s characterization and reported capability, not an independent brightness measurement in the available material. The four-sided curved design is also worth considering: its look and feel are subjective, so try the shape in person if curved screens tend to bother you.
Tech Advisor and GSMArena both described performance favorably for the phone’s class in their 2024 reviews. Treat that as review-period assessment rather than a current head-to-head benchmark; no benchmark figures are established here. The available evidence supports a capable everyday package, but not a claim that it leads every rival in demanding workloads.

Battery life and charging
HONOR lists a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery. GSMArena reports 100W wired charging, 66W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. Those charging figures are reported capabilities; the supplied information does not establish a battery-life test result or how long a full charge takes under specific conditions.
Before buying, check the local model’s specifications and box contents. Charger inclusion can vary by market or listing, and the available information does not confirm what is bundled with every regional version.

Is the HONOR 200 Pro worth its price?
Tech Advisor reported a UK launch price of £699.99 in its 2024 review. That is historical context, not a current UK price or a guide to prices in other regions. TechRadar also reported launch prices for several regions, but those are likewise not current retail quotes.
Base a value decision on the current local price for the exact storage configuration you are considering. The phone makes the strongest case when its camera versatility, curved high-refresh display and charging features align with your priorities. The available material does not establish current rival prices, a software-update commitment or present-day stock, so those should be checked rather than assumed.
