Apple labels the Health and Reminders features “Labs.” These details come from the UK App Store listing; they do not establish that the same changes shipped in the Android app or in every regional storefront.
What’s new in the Home Assistant iOS app?
Apple’s UK App Store listing describes a set of additions to the Home Assistant iOS companion app, plus maintenance improvements. It does not identify a Home Assistant Core release or, in the details available here, a specific app version.

What does the “Labs” label mean here?
Apple Health sensors and Reminders syncing are explicitly marked “Labs” in the listing. Treat them as experimental or Labs-designated options, not as universally enabled stable features. The listing does not provide more detail about their rollout, setup requirements or availability across devices.

The App Store listing also describes fixes and refinements that affect everyday use:
- Crash and stability fixes across iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac.
- Faster launch and automatic recovery when a session expires.
- Widget and Assist audio support for servers using mTLS client certificates.
- Improved deep-link handling and a fix for deleted servers reappearing.
- Reorganized settings with search, plus better entity-picker search, filters and multiple selection.
- More reliable remote camera streaming.
- Improved Apple Watch syncing and connectivity.
The listing gives no measured performance figures, so it does not support a specific claim about how much faster the app launches or how much reliability improved.

Is this a Home Assistant Core update?
The cited release details describe changes to the iOS companion app, not a new Home Assistant Core release. Home Assistant publishes Core release notes separately in its release index; the app listing alone does not identify a corresponding Core version.
Does the update include Android?
The specific feature list above is from Apple’s UK App Store listing, so it establishes what that storefront documents for iOS—not whether the same features are available in Android or in other regional listings. Home Assistant maintains official apps for both iOS and Android, and its documentation explains that the Mobile App integration connects mobile apps to Home Assistant. The existence of both apps does not establish feature parity. Check the release notes in the relevant store for the platform and version you use.
