The update claims also use different wording: HMD specifies a quarterly security-update cadence, while the Ai+ duration is reported by a secondary listing.
Price difference in India

HMD’s India product page, accessed October 7, 2026, displayed ₹13,999 for the Vibe2 5G and ₹19,999 as MRP. Its page showed different stock states for different variants: one appeared out of stock, while another was marked in stock and ready to ship subject to a PIN-code check. Choose the HMD Vibe2 if its listed advantages matter to you
- You want 128GB storage even on the 4GB RAM variant shown on HMD’s product page.
- You value HMD’s stated two years of quarterly security updates from global launch.
- The selected Vibe2 configuration is available for delivery to your PIN code at a price that works for you.
Consider the Ai+ Nova 2 if its exact offer is better for your needs
- You find a verified Ai+ configuration at a lower price or with the memory and storage combination you prefer.
- You have checked the camera and software details for that exact retail SKU rather than relying on a generalized comparison listing.
- The reported update period—one year of OS updates and two years of security updates, according to Gadgets Now—meets your expectations.
Neither phone is a universal winner on the available evidence. Before deciding, verify the same-tier price, the seller’s exact variant, local stock and the update terms you care about. The reported shared chipset and similar display specifications are not a substitute for a controlled performance comparison.
