Which phone has longer software support?
Samsung’s published commitment is substantially longer. Samsung says the Galaxy F70e will receive six years of OS and security updates. HMD specifies two years of quarterly security updates, with the period beginning on the Vibe2’s global launch date; the cited product information does not give that date. Display, performance and cameras
Display size
The Vibe2 has the larger stated diagonal at 6.75 inches, compared with 6.7 inches for the F70e. Both are HD+ 120Hz displays, so the published figures show a small size difference rather than a difference in resolution or refresh rate. HMD identifies its panel as IPS; Samsung’s launch announcement describes the F70e display as HD+.
Chipsets and everyday speed
The Vibe2 uses a Unisoc T8200, while the F70e uses a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 specified by Samsung at up to 2.4GHz. Chipset names and peak clock speed alone do not establish which phone feels faster. The cited official specifications do not provide independently verified benchmarks or hands-on performance results.

Camera hardware
Both phones list a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Samsung additionally specifies a 2MP depth camera; HMD describes the Vibe2’s rear setup as an AI dual camera. These hardware descriptions do not establish which phone takes better photos. Megapixel counts and an extra depth sensor cannot substitute for tested image samples.

Battery, charging and storage
Each manufacturer lists a 6000mAh battery, but capacity alone does not predict battery life; actual endurance depends on settings, network conditions and usage. Samsung specifies 25W charging, versus 18W for HMD. Those wattages indicate the stated charging specifications, not a measured time to full charge.

Both India product lineups include 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB variants. The Vibe2 also officially supports microSD cards up to 1TB, which is its clearest listed storage advantage. Verify whether the F70e model offered by a seller supports expansion before treating the lack of that detail in Samsung’s launch announcement as a definitive hardware limitation.
Build, water resistance and box contents
Samsung lists an IP54 rating for the F70e. That is a specified ingress-protection rating, not a claim that the phone is waterproof. Samsung also describes a leather-finish rear and 8.2mm thickness. HMD lists the Vibe2 at 210g and 8.6mm thick, with dimensions of 168 × 77.7 × 8.6mm.

HMD’s stated Vibe2 box contents include a charger, case, screen protector, SIM pin and USB-C cable. The cited Samsung launch announcement does not confirm the F70e’s box contents. Check the local package listing before buying accessories or assuming a charger is included.

A definitive current price gap cannot be calculated from the available figures because they refer to different kinds of pricing at different times. HMD’s India product page displayed ₹13,999 and a struck-through MRP of ₹19,999 when checked for this comparison; its location-specific stock and displayed offer can change. Samsung’s 9 February 2026 launch announcement listed net effective launch prices of ₹12,499 for 4GB/128GB and ₹13,999 for 6GB/128GB, including bank cashback, plus a limited launch offer of another ₹500. Samsung said sales would begin on 17 February 2026. Those are dated introductory terms, not a current quote.

Before buying, check both brands’ India listings on the same date and compare the same RAM/storage variant. Note whether a displayed price depends on a bank card, cashback or limited offer; an advertised effective price may not be available to every buyer. Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Galaxy F70e 5G if Samsung’s six-year OS and security update commitment and its higher 25W charging specification matter most to you.
