Hisense E7N Pro Series: 4K 144Hz Gaming TV Sizes, Specs and Buying Advice

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The Hisense E7N Pro is a 4K QLED (Hi-QLED) LCD television family aimed at gamers who want 120Hz-plus performance on a large screen without moving to OLED pricing. European models such as the 55E7NQ PRO, 65E7NQ PRO and 75E7NQ PRO combine quantum-dot color, full-array local dimming (where specified), VRR, ALLM, AMD FreeSync support and a claimed 144Hz gaming mode. The important catch is regional variation: model names, HDMI-port behavior, smart-TV software, tuners and availability differ by country. The E7N Pro is not automatically a U.S. model and it is not the same television as the U.S. Hisense U7N/U75N.

Quick verdict

Choose an E7N Pro when you want a large LCD for PC gaming at up to 4K/144Hz input or console gaming at 4K/120Hz, plus quantum-dot color and local dimming. It is most compelling when the exact regional model is heavily discounted and you can obtain local warranty support.

Its limits are equally important: QLED is not Mini-LED or OLED; blooming, viewing-angle and panel-uniformity performance can vary by size and market; and 144Hz is mainly a PC feature. Console buyers should think of it as 4K/120Hz hardware with extra headroom, not a promise of 144Hz gameplay.

What the E7N Pro actually is

This is a 2024-era 4K UHD LCD family with a quantum-dot color layer. Resolution is 3840 × 2160. European listings identify the VIDAA smart-TV platform, while other regions can use different software and broadcast hardware.

Hisense 75" U6 Pro Series Mini‑LED ULED 4K UHD HDR Gaming AI Smart Fire TV (75U6SF Pro, 2026 New) – Hi-QLED, Native 144Hz, Motion Rate 480, Dolby Vision IQ · Atmos, HDR10+, Glare-Free, Alexa+
  • HI - QLED MINILED: Striking contrast and vivid, lifelike color put every scene in a new light. Whether it's a sunny landscape or a candlelit drama, the picture leaps off the screen. • NATIVE 144HZ REFRESH RATE: Fast breaks, high-speed chases, live finales — every frame stays crisp and fluid, so the action is always exactly where you need it to be. • UNIBODY SLIM DESIGN: Edge-to-edge display and a seamless design that disappears into your room — so all you see is the picture
  • Backlight: QLED/Hi-QLED with full-array local dimming on documented regional models.
  • HDR and sound: Dolby Vision or Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10/HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X are listed only on certain regional product sheets; confirm the exact model. Audio configurations can include 2.1-channel or subwoofer-equipped designs.
  • Gaming: 144Hz Game Mode Pro or 144Hz VRR, variable refresh rate, auto low-latency mode and AMD FreeSync support, with implementation dependent on market and firmware.

Quantum Dot does not mean Mini-LED. Quantum dots improve color potential; they do not guarantee OLED-like blacks, no blooming, wide viewing angles, high HDR brightness or factory-perfect calibration. Hisense U.S. U75N documentation, by contrast, describes Mini-LED Pro backlighting: official U75N specification sheet.

Models and sizes through 75 inches

The European family extends beyond this guide’s scope to 85 and 100 inches. Japan lists 55-, 65-, 75- and 85-inch versions. The table below covers the three commonly requested sizes.

Size Common European model Regional evidence and price signal
55 inches 55E7NQ PRO or 55E77NQ PRO Official German listing; €549 was shown when checked, but the page reported out of stock: Hisense Germany
65 inches 65E7NQ PRO Hisense Netherlands showed €899 when checked: Hisense Netherlands
75 inches 75E7NQ PRO Hisense Netherlands showed €1,199 when checked; the Spanish and Croatian product pages document the model: Spain and Croatia

Those are country-specific listed prices, not a universal current street price, and a listed price does not prove stock. Check voltage, plug, tuner, apps and warranty before importing.

144Hz: what is real and what it means

Hisense Japan specifies 4K/144Hz, 4K/120Hz and 1080p/144Hz input on HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 for its E7N Pro. European pages advertise 144Hz Game Mode Pro and 144Hz VRR. This establishes high-refresh input capability, not that every HDMI socket or every regional version behaves identically. Consult the local manual before purchase: Japanese gaming specifications.

Separate three ideas: the panel’s refresh behavior, the maximum signal the TV accepts, and motion-interpolation claims. A compatible gaming PC can benefit from 144Hz at suitable settings. PlayStation 5, PS5 Pro and Xbox Series consoles generally target 4K/120Hz, so they will not create a 144Hz console mode simply because the television accepts one.

Gaming features and source compatibility

VRR, ALLM and FreeSync

VRR matches the display refresh to changing frame rates, reducing tearing and uneven motion. ALLM lets a supported console or PC trigger the low-latency game mode. AMD FreeSync is primarily useful with compatible PC hardware; the exact tier and port behavior are model-specific.

Input-lag claim

Hisense Japan claims approximately 0.83ms in its 4K/144p Game Mode Pro condition. That is a manufacturer figure, not an independent universal measurement. Lag changes with resolution, refresh rate, HDR, VRR, firmware and test method: Hisense Japan gaming page.

PS5 and Xbox

  • PS5/PS5 Pro: target 4K/120Hz; connect to a high-refresh HDMI port and enable 120Hz output and VRR in the console settings.
  • Xbox Series X|S: can use 4K/120Hz and VRR when the model, port and cable support them. Use the Xbox display-compatibility test.
  • Nintendo Switch and older consoles: will not exploit 144Hz. Value then depends on latency, upscaling, contrast, HDR handling and price.

PC

144Hz matters most to a PC with a GPU capable of exceeding 120 frames per second. Resolution, color format, HDR, game settings and cable bandwidth determine whether that headline mode is practical.

HDMI setup and troubleshooting

Japan’s port mapping is documented; do not assume it applies to every European model.

  1. Connect the PC or console to the HDMI socket identified in the local manual for 4K/120Hz or 4K/144Hz (HDMI 1 or 2 on the Japanese model).
  2. Use a certified Ultra High Speed HDMI cable.
  3. Turn on Game Mode or Game Mode Pro, then enable VRR and ALLM where offered.
  4. Set the source to 4K/120Hz or 4K/144Hz and enable HDR separately.
  5. If the signal falls to 60Hz, try another certified cable, another high-bandwidth port and the source GPU/console display settings.

High refresh and HDR are separate compatibility checks. Menu names vary with VIDAA firmware and country, so follow the on-screen labels for your model.

Picture quality: QLED plus local dimming

Potential strengths

  • Quantum dots can increase color volume, particularly at higher luminance.
  • Full-array local dimming can produce deeper dark scenes and brighter highlights than a basic edge-lit LCD.
  • HDR formats such as Dolby Vision, HDR10/HDR10+ and HLG can improve compatible content when included on that regional sheet.

Trade-offs

  • Blooming may appear around subtitles or bright objects.
  • Black uniformity and dirty-screen effect can vary between units.
  • Aggressive dimming can crush shadow detail.
  • Panel type and viewing angles may differ by diagonal and market. Do not assume a 55-inch review describes the 65- or 75-inch version.

No verified zone count, brightness, contrast or gamut measurement is established here, so those figures should not be inferred from the QLED label.

Smart-TV software and regional checks

European listings identify VIDAA Smart OS. App catalogs, voice control, AirPlay or Chromecast support, firmware updates and tuner standards vary by country. Before buying, verify Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV and local broadcaster apps, plus the television’s voltage and broadcast compatibility. A U.S. Google TV specification cannot be transferred to a European E7NQ PRO.

Choosing 55, 65 or 75 inches

55-inch

Best for a bedroom, office or desk-adjacent setup. It is easier to view at shorter distances and easier to transport, but the German listing’s €549 price was paired with an out-of-stock status when checked.

65-inch

The most balanced option for mixed streaming, couch gaming and PC use in many rooms. The €899 Netherlands figure is a regional listing signal, not a guaranteed current price.

75-inch

Best for an immersive living-room or couch-gaming setup at a suitable distance. Measure stand width, wall space, doorway access and seating angles first; a large LCD’s off-axis performance may be less forgiving. The €1,199 Netherlands signal should be treated as regional and date-sensitive.

E7N Pro versus Hisense U7N/U75N

These are not interchangeable series. The U.S. U75N sheet lists Mini-LED Pro, Google TV, ATSC 3.0, two HDMI 2.1 inputs capable of 4K/144Hz, VRR/ALLM, FreeSync Premium Pro and Dolby Vision: official U.S. specification sheet. E7N Pro European models are documented as QLED/full-array-local-dimming televisions with VIDAA. For a U.S. buyer, the U75N may be the easier officially supported purchase; it is not proof that an imported E7N Pro has the same hardware or software.

Who should buy it—and who should skip it?

Buy when

  • You want a large LCD with 4K/120Hz-plus gaming input.
  • You have a PC that can use refresh rates above 120Hz.
  • You value quantum-dot color and local dimming over OLED pricing.
  • The exact model has local warranty coverage and a meaningful discount.

Skip or compare alternatives when

  • You require OLED-level blacks, minimal blooming or consistently wide viewing angles.
  • You need four full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 inputs.
  • You are importing without a clear warranty, tuner and firmware path.
  • You need identical panel behavior across every size.

Common buying mistakes

  • Confusing E7N Pro with U7N and transferring Mini-LED, Google TV or ATSC features.
  • Assuming every HDMI input accepts 144Hz.
  • Expecting PS5 or Xbox to output 4K/144Hz.
  • Using a low-bandwidth cable that forces 60Hz or causes black screens.
  • Treating QLED as a guarantee of premium HDR or OLED-like blacks.
  • Reading a listed price as proof that stock is available.

Final buying guidance

The 65E7NQ PRO is the sensible middle ground for many European living rooms; the 55-inch version suits tighter spaces and the 75-inch version suits large-room couch gaming. In every case, match the recommendation to the country-specific model number, HDMI-port specification, software, warranty and stock status. For U.S. shoppers, verify an official E7N Pro sales and support path before paying for an import; otherwise investigate the documented U75N instead.
