The Australian-market 75U6QAU PRO is a 75-inch 4K Mini-LED-branded television with quantum-dot colour, a claimed 144Hz native refresh rate, and four HDMI inputs. Hisense’s published specifications make it look feature-rich for gaming and HDR, but the headline brightness and refresh claims are manufacturer figures, not independent measurements. Publicly available evidence does not establish how well this exact 75-inch model performs in controlled picture-quality tests.
What is the Hisense 75U6QAU PRO?
It is the 75-inch Australian-market model in Hisense’s U6QAU PRO series, identified by the manufacturer as a 2025 model. Regional model names matter: the U6QAU PRO discussed here is not necessarily equivalent to a similarly named U6 television sold in the United States or another market. Check the complete model number before comparing reviews, specifications, or retailer listings.

Hisense lists a 3840 × 2160 resolution, quantum-dot colour, Mini-LED branding, direct LED backlighting, and an 8-bit-plus-FRC panel. The specification sheet gives a 900-nit peak-brightness figure. These are manufacturer specifications; the available evidence does not independently measure the 75-inch set’s brightness, contrast, local-dimming behaviour, colour accuracy, or blooming.

CHOICE
CHOICE has a page for the exact 75U6QAU PRO and lists basic specifications including 4K resolution, four HDMI inputs, VIDAA, and a three-year warranty. Its publicly accessible page displayed A$1,899 when accessed in 2026, but prices can change. The detailed expert rating and test results are member-only on that page, so no public CHOICE picture-quality score can be verified. See CHOICE’s 75U6QAU PRO page.

The quick response helps you stay in control during competitive gaming while making rapid camera shots in shows and movies easier to follow
- BUILT-IN SUBWOOFER: Immersive deep bass from the built-in subwoofer pulls you into the heart of the moment, from the rumble of an explosion to the thump of your favorite song. Feel like you’re a part of the action
- ANTI-REFLECTION & GLARE-FREE: Bright rooms are no match for this screen. The anti-reflection and glare-free display keeps your view clean and distraction-free, so you stay focused on what matters — the show
- UNIBODY SLIM DESIGN: Edge-to-edge display and a seamless design that disappears into your room — so all you see is the picture
I’mTech
Ray Shaw’s I’mTech review, published 1 August 2025, discusses the Australian U6QAU PRO range but explicitly bases its viewing observations on the 65-inch version. It offers useful range context, not a hands-on test of this 75-inch set. Shaw describes the range as entry-level Mini-LED and provides his own viewing impressions; those opinions should not be treated as measured results for the 75-inch model. Read the I’mTech range review.
Retailer and owner feedback
Appliances Online lists the exact model and hosts customer comments. Individual reviewers report differing experiences, including praise for picture and sport viewing, and comments about fast-paced sport or occasional shutoffs. These anecdotes do not establish how common any issue is and are not controlled tests. ProductReview.com.au showed one review and a 5.0 rating when accessed; a single, changing review sample is not a meaningful reliability verdict.
How should you read the picture and HDR specifications?
Hisense advertises Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive on its product page; its specification sheet lists HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. The listed formats indicate compatibility claims, not proof that every format, processing feature, or scene looks a particular way on this screen.

- HI-QLED MINILED: Mini-LED backlighting uses thousands of precise light zones to enhance contrast across the screen, revealing deeper shadows, brighter highlights, and more visible detail. Whether watching movies at night or sports during the day, the picture stays clear and impactful

Likewise, “Mini-LED” and a claimed 900-nit peak do not, by themselves, tell you how bright the TV gets across a whole scene, how effectively it controls bright objects against dark backgrounds, or how faithfully it renders colour. Those questions require independent measurements and viewing tests of the exact model. The available public material does not provide that evidence for the 75-inch set.
Is it suitable for console or PC gaming?
Hisense advertises 144Hz Game Mode Pro and VRR, and the specification sheet gives a 144Hz native refresh-rate claim. That is a manufacturer specification rather than an independently verified result. The same sheet distinguishes HDMI ports: HDMI 3 and HDMI 4 are listed as HDMI 2.1 with VRR and ALLM; HDMI 3 also carries eARC. HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 are listed as HDMI 2.0 with VRR and ALLM.
For a console or PC intended to use the set’s higher-bandwidth gaming features, use one of the HDMI 2.1 inputs and check the source device, cable, TV settings, and the signal format supported by that combination. A port’s label alone does not guarantee a particular resolution-and-refresh-rate signal in every setup.

- NATIVE 165HZ PANEL WITH GAME BOOSTER 288: Turbo power your gaming! The Native 165Hz Panel has a Variable Refresh Rate of 48Hz to 165Hz, almost as fast as your reaction time. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Auto Low Latency Mode and Low Latency MEMC eliminate screen tearing and controller lag. - ENHANCED GAME BAR: Enjoy your gaming dashboard and manage performance in real time. Seamlessly adjust settings and monitor gameplay data as you play. Lead the moment. Play to win

If you use an eARC soundbar, connect it to HDMI 3, the port Hisense identifies with eARC. That leaves HDMI 4 as the other listed HDMI 2.1 input for a gaming source. Confirm the soundbar and TV settings support the audio formats and functions you plan to use.

What are the audio and smart-TV features?
The product page advertises Dolby Atmos and a built-in subwoofer; the specification sheet lists a 2 × 10W + 20W output configuration. Those details describe the set’s advertised hardware and format support, not a measured assessment of dialogue clarity, bass quality, or surround effect. Hisense describes Hi-Concerto as working with selected Hisense audio products, so do not assume it will pair with every soundbar.
The listed smart-TV platform is VIDAA U8.5, with Freeview Plus and UHD streaming capability. The specification sheet also lists Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz), Ethernet, and a headphone output; the product page lists AirPlay 2. App selection and availability can vary by region and software version, so verify that the services you use are available on the Australian model.

What does it cost, and what warranty is listed?
Hisense Australia’s product page and CHOICE both displayed A$1,899 when accessed in 2026. Treat that as a time-sensitive listed price, not a guaranteed current or sale price; check the retailer’s live listing and confirm it is for the 75U6QAU PRO. Hisense’s Australian product page and retailer material list a three-year warranty. Confirm the applicable warranty terms with Hisense for your region and purchase.
Will it fit your wall mount?
The specification sheet lists a VESA mounting pattern of 600 × 400 mm. Match the mount to that pattern, but also check the television’s weight, the mount’s rated load, the wall construction, and the installation hardware. VESA compatibility alone does not establish that a particular mount or wall is suitable.

It is worth considering if you want a large 4K television with advertised quantum-dot colour, multiple HDR formats, gaming features, and a 75-inch screen, and you are comfortable evaluating it on manufacturer specifications rather than a published independent test of this exact size. Before buying, compare current Australian pricing and warranty, and look for independently measured brightness, local-dimming performance, motion handling, and gaming behaviour for the precise model. The sources available here do not establish a measured head-to-head picture-quality winner against alternatives.
Check Hisense Australia’s product page and Hisense’s 75U6QAU PRO specification sheet for the manufacturer’s current product information.
