Its published specifications make it possible to assess features and fit, but the available listings do not establish independent picture, gaming or sound performance. Treat this as a specification-led buying guide, not a hands-on test.
What is the Hisense 65Q6SAU?
The 65Q6SAU is a 2026-model, 65-inch QLED television for the Australian market. Hisense’s specification sheet and Costco Australia list a 3840 × 2160 resolution (4K), a 60 Hz native refresh rate and VIDAA U9. The model supports 4K streaming and 4K upscaling according to the specification sheet. Costco’s 65Q6SAU listing and the Hisense 65Q6SAU specification sheet provide the model-specific details.

Does it have a native 120 Hz panel?
No. The specification sheet lists 60 Hz as the native refresh rate and separately gives a “smooth motion rate” of 120. Those figures describe different things: the motion-rate label does not establish a native 120 Hz panel. Costco also lists a 60 Hz refresh rate. If you want a television with native 120 Hz for high-frame-rate gaming or sports, do not treat the 120 smooth-motion figure as confirmation that this model meets that requirement.

HDR, brightness and picture features
The Hisense sheet lists Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HDR10+ support, as well as 350 nit brightness. Those are published specifications, not independent measurements of real-world brightness or HDR impact. The available CHOICE 65Q6SAU page identifies the model and gives a listed price, but the available listing does not provide a test score or performance result. There is therefore no basis here to claim how bright the screen looks in a particular room, how effectively it handles HDR, or how it compares in picture quality with another TV.

Ports, connectivity and audio
| Feature | Published specification |
|---|---|
| HDMI | Three HDMI 2.0 inputs; the specification sheet identifies eARC, VRR and ALLM on the third input |
| USB | Two USB 2.0 ports |
| Wireless and network | Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet |
| TV service | Freeview Plus |
| Speakers | 2 × 10 W |
| Audio format | Dolby Atmos listed on the specification sheet |
Costco confirms three HDMI ports, two USB ports and 2 × 10 W audio output. The detailed port and feature descriptions above come from the model specification sheet. These details can help with device planning: count the HDMI inputs you need, and note that eARC, VRR and ALLM are specified for HDMI 3 rather than assumed to apply to every input. Listed audio formats and speaker wattage do not indicate how the TV sounds in a room; no independent sound test is established here.
Will the 65Q6SAU fit your stand or wall mount?
Costco lists the TV body at 1446 × 838 × 70 mm and the set with its stand at 1446 × 874 × 298 mm. Its listing gives the wall-mount pattern as VESA 400 × 200 mm. Confirm the dimensions and pattern against the television label or exact-model manual before ordering a mount, since listing details can change and compatibility also depends on the mount and installation.

Is the Hisense 65Q6SAU a good TV?
It may suit a buyer looking for a 65-inch 4K QLED with common HDR formats, VIDAA U9, three HDMI inputs and a listed VESA pattern. The key trade-off visible in the specifications is the 60 Hz native refresh rate: the separate 120 smooth-motion figure is not evidence of a native 120 Hz panel. A buyer choosing between models should compare native refresh and gaming features, HDR support alongside independently measured brightness, app availability, HDMI/eARC needs, dimensions, mounting, audio and the actual price. The evidence available for this model does not support a picture-quality or sound-quality ranking against a named competitor.
