The HIKMICRO HABROK 4K HH35L 2.0 combines thermal imaging, 4K digital viewing and a laser rangefinder in one binocular. Digital Camera World reported the model on September 30, 2026, highlighting revised rear controls and shutterless thermal viewing. Its specifications and distance figures are reported product claims, not independently verified performance tests.

What the HABROK 4K HH35L 2.0 does

This multispectrum binocular brings together a thermal channel for detecting heat signatures and a digital channel for conventional color or infrared-assisted night viewing. Users can switch between thermal and digital viewing, with picture-in-picture also reported as a feature. It is not the same as a system that continuously presents split thermal and full-color images side by side.

Digital Camera World’s September 30, 2026 report describes the HH35L 2.0 as an update to the HABROK concept and the HABROK 4K 2.0 platform. The article is the source for the model-specific figures below; the exact HH35L 2.0 manufacturer product page or manual was not available in the cited material. Read the report.

Thermal and digital viewing specifications

Channel Reported specification What it means
Thermal 384 × 288 sensor; sub-15 mK NETD; 35 mm f/1.0 lens; 4×–20× magnification Thermal resolution and sensitivity describe the heat-imaging channel. The reported lens and magnification belong to this channel.
Digital 3840 × 2160 sensor; 60 mm f/2.2 lens; 5.5×–22× magnification This is the binocular’s high-resolution digital channel, with a different lens and magnification range from thermal viewing.

The reported magnification ranges should not be read as equivalent image quality across modes: thermal and digital sensors capture different kinds of information. HIKMICRO’s HSIS shutterless thermal technology is intended to avoid momentary freezes associated with thermal sensor calibration, according to the article.

Detection, night viewing and ranging are different measures

  • Thermal detection: HikMicro is quoted as claiming detection up to 1,800 m. Detection does not establish that a person or object can be clearly identified at that distance.
  • Digital night viewing: HikMicro’s quoted distance is up to 400 m. The unit has interchangeable 940 nm and 850 nm infrared illuminators for digital night viewing.
  • Laser rangefinder: The rangefinder is rated to 1,000 m. This is a ranging specification, not a thermal detection or digital viewing distance.

These figures are manufacturer-attributed claims reported by Digital Camera World, not documented independent test results. Conditions and target details for the distance claims are not established in the report.

Controls and field features

The control changes singled out in the article are a rear focus wheel and a rear toggle for switching between thermal and digital viewing. Other reported features include electronic image stabilization, GPS, a digital compass, video and still-image recording, 64 GB of internal storage, and connection to the HIKMICRO Sight app.

How it differs from the earlier HABROK Pro

A March 8, 2025 Digital Camera World article described the HABROK Pro, a distinct earlier model. Its reported split-image viewing displayed thermal imagery alongside full-color visuals; it was also reported with a 0.49-inch 1920 × 1080 OLED screen, a 1,000 m laser rangefinder, weight under 900 g and up to seven hours of continuous operation. Those figures apply to the HABROK Pro, not the HH35L 2.0. Read the HABROK Pro report.

What the reported upgrade amounts to

The HH35L 2.0’s main appeal is the combination of a 384 × 288 thermal channel, 4K digital sensor, infrared-assisted night viewing and laser ranging in one device. The reported rear controls and shutterless thermal design address handling and viewing interruptions, while IP67 protection and replaceable batteries suit field use. Whether its image quality, detection performance or controls are better in practice cannot be established from the published specifications alone; the available article does not document independent testing.
