These 15 unusual gadgets span outdoor gear, household tools, lighting and educational toys. A 2026 Gadget Review article describes how they work and reports specifications for several, but it does not provide independent test results or sourcing records that establish every item is made in China. The Gadget Review article reports 5,000 mAh per cell and 22 W USB output, then describes six cells as 30,000 mAh and twenty as 100,000 mAh. Those figures are claims from the article; confirm the exact device’s output, cell requirements and capacity conventions in its documentation before comparing it with other power banks.
4. Motorized folding umbrella
A button operates the opening and closing mechanism, and the article describes USB recharging and a water-repellent canopy. It also cautions that “hurricane-proof” is marketing language, not a standardized rating or verified wind-test result. Check the warranty and care instructions, and do not interpret that phrase as evidence of a tested wind limit.

5. Magnetic rechargeable wall lamps
These LED lamps attach to removable adhesive magnetic mounts and can be taken down for charging. The article describes adjustable brightness and color temperature. Check how the lamp charges, whether the mount suits the wall surface, and how long the light lasts at the brightness you intend to use; the article supplies no verified runtime.
6. RF remote-controlled power outlets
Some outlet sets use a radio-frequency remote, commonly described in the article as 433 MHz or 315 MHz, rather than requiring Wi-Fi or a cloud account. Before choosing one, verify the exact outlet’s electrical rating, plug type and local radio and electrical requirements. A frequency or remote-control feature alone does not establish compatibility or safety.

7. Digital rolling ruler
A rolling ruler measures distance as its wheel moves over a surface; the article also describes scale and divider functions and attributes 0.1 mm precision to a product it names as Hozodesign. It gives a price of around $130, a dated claim from its August 2026 article rather than a current quote. Precision is not the same as demonstrated accuracy: check the maker’s calibration method, measurement range and current price for the exact model.

Those descriptions do not establish that a particular model is certified or safe for a specific fuel, container or setting. The article describes chlorine-based tablets and reports a treatment amount of approximately 150 liters per tablet with a 30-minute contact time.
