Hero V04 is a mobile-app landing-page hero built around an app-download call to action—not a complete app or website. Colorlib describes a two-tone headline, rating line, short pitch, generic app-store buttons, three quick facts and two CSS phone mockups. It is intended to adapt to smaller screens, where the content centers, buttons fill the available width and one phone mockup remains.
What Hero V04 includes
The layout is aimed at an app launch or app marketing page: it pairs a brief product pitch with a visible download prompt and visual device previews. Colorlib describes the phone mockups as HTML/CSS illustrations, rather than screenshots of a real app. The store buttons are generic, so they need to be connected to the app’s actual destinations before publication. Colorlib’s Hero V04 page describes the design and its intended use.

Does Hero V04 require Bootstrap?
Colorlib describes the template as plain HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript. Its published download size is 376 KB. The publisher says it can be used on its own or in Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 projects; its collection FAQ says its hero designs do not require Bootstrap or jQuery. These are publisher-stated details, not independent test results. Hero V04 details · Colorlib’s hero-section roundup

Using the same opening pattern with Bootstrap 5
Bootstrap 5 removed the old .jumbotron component. A hero section built from layout and utility classes can serve the same introductory role. That does not mean Hero V04 depends on the jumbotron or on Bootstrap at all. Colorlib’s Bootstrap jumbotron guide

When this design is a good fit
Consider Hero V04 if the page needs a concise app pitch, a prominent route to download the app and a visual preview without providing phone screenshots. It is less suitable if the page needs a complete app interface preview, extensive feature explanations or a different kind of primary call to action; the described design is specifically oriented toward app promotion.
Before publishing
- Replace the generic store-button destinations with the correct app listings or other real destinations.
- Check that the headline, rating and three quick facts describe the actual app and are supported by evidence.
- Review the adapted layout on the devices and browsers your audience uses. The published descriptions indicate mobile-specific behavior, but do not establish independent device, accessibility or performance testing.
- Keep text legible over any background imagery, design for mobile rather than simply shrinking a desktop layout, and consider reduced-motion preferences if adding animation. These are general hero-design practices, not claims about features tested in Hero V04. Colorlib’s design guidance
