The Herington Latex Dual Contour Profile Pillow is a latex pillow with a dual-contoured profile, a removable four-way-stretch velour cover and ventilation holes, according to its manufacturer, Jaspa Herington. Whether it suits you depends on three things that no product page can settle for you: whether the listing you are looking at is the exact model, whether its height matches how you sleep, and whether the warranty and return terms work for you if it does not. This review works through each of those points using published listings and reviews. It is not based on our own testing of the pillow.
Confirm you are looking at the right pillow
Several Herington latex pillows are listed under similar names, and the dimensions and material descriptions do not match across them. Before you compare anything, check the listing title against the table below.

| Name on the listing | Where it is listed | Dimensions stated | Latex described as |
|---|---|---|---|
| Herington Latex Dual Contour Profile Pillow | Jaspa Herington (manufacturer) | Not stated on the listing reviewed | ExcelLatex |
| Herington Latex Dual Contour Pillow | CHOICE | 14 × 62 × 41 cm; 1.4 kg | Not stated |
| Herington Latex Contour Pillow | House / MyHouse | 10/12 × 55 × 39 cm (as written on the listing) | Talalay |
| Herington Latex Dual Contour Profile Pillow | BIG W, sold by a marketplace seller (Luxe Bedding) | Not stated on the listing reviewed | Not stated |
| Jaspa Herington Latex Contour Pillow White | Myer | Not stated on the listing reviewed | Not stated |
The House listing describes a different product name and a Talalay latex. Treat its 10/12 × 55 × 39 cm figures as belonging to that listing only. Do not apply them to the Dual Contour Profile Pillow. Where a listing does not state a value, assume nothing and check the seller’s specification before buying.
Height and dimensions
The CHOICE listing for the Dual Contour Pillow gives a height of 14 cm, a width of 62 cm, a length of 41 cm and a weight of 1.4 kg. Height is the figure most likely to decide fit, so it is the one to check against your own setup. The published listing does not say which sleeping positions the profile was designed for, and the manufacturer’s claim that the contour gives “optimum cradled support options for maximum comfort” is a product claim, not an established outcome.

Before you buy, measure the following:
- Your shoulder width. A 62 cm wide pillow leaves little room for a tighter, narrower bed.
- The gap between your head and the mattress when you lie in your usual position, which is the height the pillow needs to fill.
- Your preferred position on the pillow. Side sleepers and back sleepers usually need different heights, but published listings do not state an ideal height for either.
Materials and construction
The manufacturer describes the pillow as using ExcelLatex, with a dual-contoured profile, ventilation holes through the pin-cored latex and a removable four-way-stretch velour cover. These are manufacturer descriptions. We have not seen independent testing that confirms how the latex performs, how well the holes ventilate, or how the cover wears.
Words such as “hypoallergenic”, “antibacterial”, “supportive”, “pressure-relieving” and “breathable” appear across retail copy for pillows like this. Unless an independent body has tested the claim, read them as the seller’s wording.

Care routine
The care instructions differ between the cover and the latex core, so follow them separately:
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →- Remove the velour cover from the latex pillow.
- Wash the cover by hand in warm water, or machine-wash it gently at up to 60°C, as the manufacturer states.
- Do not machine-wash the latex pillow itself. Spot clean the latex core instead, which is also the instruction CHOICE gives.
- Let the cover dry completely before you put it back on the pillow, to avoid trapping moisture against the latex.
If you wash the cover often, check how it behaves after the first few washes. The listings do not say how the velour holds up over time.

Warranty and returns
The manufacturer states a five-year product warranty. Its page also says bedding products cannot be exchanged or refunded for hygiene reasons unless there is a major problem. Read the current wording on the seller’s page before you buy, because retailers can change their policies.
A store’s returns line does not remove your consumer rights in Australia. Under the Australian Consumer Law, goods must be of acceptable quality and match their description, whatever the seller’s policy says. Keep your receipt and the product listing you bought from, because they show what you were promised.
Rank #4
- Usage: The pillow is medium firm (as individual preferences vary, the perception of softness or firmness may also differ). With a height of 3.1"/3.9", it features a low and thin design, making it suitable for individuals with low sleep height requirements
- No deformation—Even after long time of use, latex pillows retain their elasticity and loft, resisting flattening or clumping. Their softness remains unaffected by temperature changes, ensuring year-round comfort with a consistently plush yet highly resilient feel
- The contour follows your natural neck curve. Made of elastic and soft latex, it snuggles your head and neck closely, delivers balanced support for comfort
- Latex pillow can not sun, do not put the pillow on the balcony window or the like to avoid exposure to the sun
- Breathable hole design--The latex foam pillow is designed with open holes for air circulation and improved breathability. Usually no special care, the inner cover is made of polyester, the outer pillowcase is made of cotton, you only need to wash the outer pillowcase

Prices and stock change quickly, and the figures below come from different pages that were viewed on different dates. They are not a current comparison.

What the reviews and tests can tell you
CHOICE tested a Herington latex dual-contour pillow and shows its test categories publicly, but its Expert Rating and scores sit behind member access. We cannot report those scores, and you should not assume them.
The manufacturer’s page shows four customer reviews averaging 4.0 out of 5: three reviews at 5 out of 5 and one at 1 out of 5. One reviewer wrote “Most comfortable and supportive pillow.”, and another wrote “Not for me”. These are individual experiences from a small sample. They say what worked for those buyers, not what will work for you, and they are not clinical evidence of any comfort or health effect.
Checklist before you buy
- The listing name, height and dimensions match the Dual Contour Profile Pillow, not the Contour Pillow.
- The height suits your usual sleeping position and shoulder width.
- You can wash the cover at home and are willing to spot clean the latex core.
- You have read the current warranty and returns terms on the seller’s page.
- The price and stock are shown on the checkout page, not only on a product listing.
Latex pillows of this kind are not a treatment for neck or back pain, and a retailer’s description of support or pressure relief does not establish any medical benefit. If you have an ongoing sleep or neck problem, speak to a health professional before you change your pillow.
