The Velen quest chain that leads to Keira
Keira’s romance is not a standalone quest. Both guides place it inside a four-quest run in Velen, played in this order:

Wandering in the Dark: the timed line
- Seal the final rift in the quest. Keira collapses against Geralt, and a timed prompt appears.
- Select “Just don’t faint on me”. AllThingsHow recommends this option. The other option offered is “If you can’t go on.”
A Favor for a Friend: roleplay and acceptance
- Complete the package errand.
- Agree to stay when Keira invites Geralt to find out what is inside the package.
- Play along with her Prince Charming fantasy. AllThingsHow says refusing this roleplay ends the romance opportunity.
- When Keira offers to sleep with Geralt, select “Don’t have to ask me twice”. The scene follows.
Choices that do not change the romance
Two decisions that look like they could matter do not affect the outcome, according to AllThingsHow:

- Winning the race only grants bonus experience. It does not change the romance.
Does sleeping with Keira affect Triss or Yennefer?
Both guides describe Keira’s encounter as a short-term affair rather than a main romance route. Both report that it does not stop you from pursuing Triss or Yennefer later. Push Square’s guide, published 13 December 2022, makes this point. AllThingsHow, last updated 29 September 2026, adds that this scene is Keira’s only romance scene and that the next quest is For the Advancement of Learning.
