Saber Interactive published the Steam release notes on October 15, 2026, saying the console update is “coming soon.” The update targets progression blockers, softlocks, collision failures, loading problems and several visual glitches.
What is the status of Update 1.1?
Steam players can download Update 1.1 now. Saber’s official note is specifically for the Steam build and does not give a day or time for consoles. Its wording is: “For those who opened the box on consoles, your patch is coming soon.” Until a separate console announcement appears, players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 should treat the date as unconfirmed.

Sewer ladder floor fall
A bug could make the player fall through the floor after climbing the ladder out of the sewers. Update 1.1 fixes that post-ladder collision failure.
Charlotte chase collision
A collision problem could prevent the Charlotte chase from finishing. The patch removes that blocker so the sequence can complete normally.
Labyrinth loading after Sunny’s pillar teleport
Levels could load too slowly after Sunny’s pillar teleport, causing the player to fall through the world in the Labyrinth. The update changes that transition to prevent the missing-level state.
Charlotte boss-fight ledge
Charlotte could become stuck on a rock ledge during her boss fight. Update 1.1 addresses the position that could leave the encounter unable to proceed.

Flooded Room lever
During the corpse puzzle, saving and reloading partway through could make the Flooded Room lever fail to spawn. The patch restores the lever in that reload scenario.
What visual and animation issues changed?
- The victim no longer disappears during the knife-pickup cutscene.
- A rare bookshelf animation offset is fixed.
- Visible geometry and lighting pop-in are reduced when backtracking through the dungeon, during the Chatterer chase and in a stairwell area.
- Placeholder “Burning House” text visible through a Labyrinth window has been removed.
These are presentation fixes rather than new story content, weapons or areas.
Does Update 1.1 require a GPU-driver update?
The patch adds a startup notice that tells PC players when their GPU driver is out of date. It is a warning, not a requirement to install a particular third-party optimizer or maintenance utility. If the notice appears, update the graphics driver through your GPU manufacturer’s official support channel, then restart the game. Players troubleshooting launch or visual problems should also compare their system with the published minimum specifications.

Steam players
Install Update 1.1 before continuing if you have encountered any of the sewer, Charlotte, Labyrinth or Flooded Room problems. The fixes target progression-critical states, so updating is more useful than trying to work around a broken save. Keep a separate save when possible, especially before a known puzzle or boss transition.
Console players
The game is playable on the three listed console families, but the cited announcement does not establish when 1.1 will arrive. If your save is blocked by one of the listed issues, waiting for the platform patch is the only confirmed remedy in the available notes; no workaround is promised there.

The game launched on October 8, 2026, as a single-player first-person action-horror survival game. You play Aidan, who uses the Genesis Configuration puzzle box to help Sunny escape the Labyrinth while confronting Pinhead and a Cenobite cult. What comes after Update 1.1?
Saber says it expects to release more patches for issues discovered after launch, but its FAQ says it has no plans for future DLC or content updates. That means ongoing support is described as bug fixing rather than a roadmap for new campaigns, levels or other expansions.

Is Hellraiser: Revival Update 1.1 out on consoles?

Can the patch repair a save already affected by a softlock?
The notes describe fixes for the affected game states, but they do not promise that every previously broken save will recover. Update first, then retry from an earlier save if the blocked state remains.
