The Helio G81 has higher listed CPU clock speeds, but comparison-site benchmark averages give the UNISOC T7250 a small lead in several tests. Neither result settles which phone will feel faster: the handset’s memory, storage, software and cooling also matter, and there is no controlled same-phone head-to-head in the available evidence.
Helio G81 vs UNISOC T7250: specifications at a glance
Both are 12 nm, eight-core 4G smartphone processors built around two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores. Their listed CPU clocks favor the G81, while the named GPUs and several platform capabilities differ.

Specifications are platform capabilities, not a promise that a phone maker uses every supported option. In particular, storage type, RAM configuration, display resolution and refresh rate vary by handset. Check the exact model and regional variant before treating a chipset specification as a phone feature.
Which processor is faster?
The answer depends on what “faster” means. The G81 has higher listed maximum CPU clocks. The T7250 has higher results in most of the comparison-site averages listed below, but those figures are not a controlled test of otherwise identical phones. They are best used as broad orientation rather than a definitive ranking.

| Benchmark | Helio G81 | UNISOC T7250 | What the reported figures show |
|---|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu (version not specified in retrieved result) | 248,435 | 264,588 | T7250 leads in this reported aggregate. |
| Geekbench 4 single-core | 1,645 | 1,763 | T7250 leads in this reported average. |
| Geekbench 4 multi-core | 5,003 | 5,410 | T7250 leads in this reported average. |
| Geekbench 5 single-core | 340 | 353 | T7250 leads in this reported average. |
| Geekbench 5 multi-core | 1,261 | 1,322 | T7250 leads in this reported average. |
| Geekbench 6 single-core | 440 | 439 | Effectively tied in this reported average. |
| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 1,369 | 1,471 | T7250 leads in this reported average. |
These figures are aggregates reported by GadgetVersus; the page says actual results can differ. The AnTuTu version was not specified in the retrieved result, so do not compare that number directly with results from another AnTuTu version. Samples and aggregation also matter: NanoReview lists a G81 Geekbench 6 average of 432 single-core and 1,416 multi-core, rather than the GadgetVersus figures. These are different datasets, not a same-device comparison.
Benchmark scores can change with the phone, firmware, available RAM and storage, temperature and test conditions. No controlled test using otherwise identical phones, software and cooling establishes a clear winner here. The T7250’s average lead therefore does not guarantee a faster experience in every T7250 phone.

What the GPU and display specs mean
The G81 is listed with a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU, while UNISOC specifies a Mali-G57 running up to 850 MHz for the T7250. These are different GPU configurations, but the model names and peak clock alone do not establish which delivers better gaming performance. No directly controlled graphics comparison is available here.
UNISOC specifies T7250 support for FHD+ displays at 60 Hz or HD+ displays at 120 Hz. That does not mean every T7250 phone has a 120 Hz screen: a device maker chooses the panel and its configuration. NanoReview lists a maximum resolution of 2520×1080 for the G81, but does not state a refresh-rate figure on its specification page. Compare the actual phone displays, not only the chip’s supported maximum.

Connectivity and camera capabilities
UNISOC’s official T7250 specification lists LTE Cat 7 downlink and Cat 13 uplink, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, support for 108 MP photo capture, and 1080p video encoding and decoding at 60 fps. Those are platform capabilities; a phone’s cameras, software, supported cellular bands and wireless implementation determine what is available in practice.
NanoReview lists the G81 as 4G-only with LTE Cat. 4, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.4. Because modem bands and regional variants affect network compatibility, check the specific handset’s band list against your carrier. The T7250 and G81 are both 4G chips; neither specification here indicates 5G support.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose between actual phone models, not processor names in isolation. A well-configured phone with one chip may be a better buy than a poorly configured phone with the other. NanoReview names the Xiaomi Redmi 14C, Tecno Spark 40 and Motorola Moto G05 as examples of phones using the Helio G81; these examples do not establish current availability or identical configurations across markets.

- Compare RAM and storage: Check both capacity and storage type. The T7250 platform supports eMMC 5.1 or UFS 2.1/2.2, but a particular phone may use only one; the G81 listing includes eMMC 5.1 and UFS 2.1.
- Compare the screen you will use: Verify the phone’s actual resolution and refresh rate rather than assuming it uses the chipset’s maximum supported display mode.
- Check network compatibility: Confirm the exact regional model’s LTE bands work with your carrier.
- Weigh software and battery as well as price: Software support, battery capacity, device condition and local availability can matter more to everyday use than a modest difference between benchmark averages.
- Use benchmarks as a tie-breaker: Prefer comparisons from the same benchmark version and, ideally, tests on comparable devices. Do not treat scores collected from different phones as a guaranteed prediction of your experience.
