The Heavys H1E is a true wireless in-ear earbud, not the brand’s H1H over-ear headphone. Its advertised package is ambitious: Bluetooth 5.4, active noise cancellation (ANC), app-based EQ, several audio codecs and multiple ear-tip materials. But the available evidence here is manufacturer information, not independent listening or test results, so it cannot establish whether the H1E sounds especially good with metal, blocks noise effectively or lasts as long as claimed.
That distinction matters for a product pitched around a particular listening identity. The published specifications make the H1E worth examining; whether it is a good everyday earbud depends on fit, sound, controls and endurance that need hands-on verification.

What the Heavys H1E is—and what its specifications establish
Heavys describes the H1E as an in-ear true wireless stereo earbud with dynamic drivers. The product page lists Bluetooth 5.4 and support for SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX Adaptive and aptX HD. It also advertises passive isolation combined with ANC, touch controls, app EQ and multi-device connectivity. These are manufacturer-listed features, not independent confirmation of how well each performs in use. Heavys H1E product page and Heavys FAQ.
Heavys lists a frequency range of 20 Hz–20 kHz and a dual-microphone system. Those figures describe the published specification; on their own, they do not reveal the H1E’s sound tuning, call clarity or noise-cancellation quality. Codec support also does not guarantee that every phone will use every listed codec: actual negotiation depends on the source device and settings.

- 8-Speaker Architecture - Four dedicated speakers per ear reveal layers traditional headphones miss and deliver exceptional detail, frequency separation, and depth of sound
- Natural Immersive Sound Field - Sound interacts with your outer ear before reaching the eardrum for a more lifelike experience and minimal listening fatigue. We built HEAVYS tech around how humans naturally hear sound
- Front-Facing Tweeters - Positioned in front of the ear for improved directionality, clarity, and realism
- Dual Woofers - Cleaner, punchier bass with lower distortion even at high volumes. Feel the powerful low-end without sacrificing the detail in vocals, guitars, and drums
- Ultra-Comfort Ear Pads - Replaceable ear pads with pressure-distributing foam for long listening sessions
Are the H1E earbuds good for metal?
The available specifications cannot answer that listening question. A broad frequency range and dynamic drivers do not establish whether guitars sound full, cymbals stay controlled, vocals remain clear in dense mixes or bass overwhelms other parts. Heavys’ brand language emphasizes an intended listening experience, but it is not a model-specific independent assessment of the H1E.
A useful review should listen to metal across different recordings and compare it with other genres. Check whether busy arrangements remain distinct at normal listening levels, whether kick drums and bass guitar have impact without masking vocals, and whether quieter acoustic or spoken content still sounds balanced. Until those checks are performed, the H1E’s suitability for metal remains unverified rather than a demonstrated strength.

Fit, seal and what comes in the box
According to Heavys’ FAQ, the package includes the earbuds, a protective charging case, a USB-C cable, multiple sizes of silicone and memory-foam ear tips, and a certificate/thank-you letter. The variety of tips gives users options, but comfort and isolation still depend on finding a stable fit for each ear. Heavys FAQ.
Heavys recommends choosing the silicone or foam tips that provide an appropriate fit. In a hands-on review, assess comfort over extended listening and whether the seal stays consistent while moving. A poor seal can affect passive isolation and perceived bass, so a sound impression made with one tip size may not represent the experience with another. The published material does not establish how comfortable the earbuds are for different ears.

While earbuds are in the capsule, hold the center Reset button for 5 seconds or until the capsule LED flashes yellow 3 times. Close the capsule to complete the reset function.
- EARBUDS WILL NOT CHARGE - Ensure the charging case is charged, indicated by LED on the front: should be an amber or green color. Confirm there is nothing blocking the earbuds from the connection to the case. Insert earbuds into the case, and confirm a blinking amber LED on the front of the case, which indicates that the earbuds are charging.
ANC, transparency and controls
The onboarding guide says a long press on the left earbud toggles ANC, while a double tap activates transparency mode. It also states that ANC and transparency are unavailable during calls. This describes the controls and a limitation, not how much noise either mode removes or how natural transparency sounds. Heavys onboarding guide.
To judge those features, test ANC against steady background noise and changing sounds, then compare transparency in a quiet setting and somewhere busier. The manufacturer’s description does not provide independent measurements or establish effectiveness in either situation.

Battery, charging and water resistance
Heavys estimates up to seven hours of playback from the earbuds and 24 hours total with the charging case. It lists charging times of 1.5 hours for the earbuds and two hours for the case. These are manufacturer-published figures, not independently measured endurance results; the available information does not establish real-world runtime under particular volume, codec or ANC conditions. Heavys H1E product page.

1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsHeavys also describes the H1E as IPX5 water resistant and sweat resistant. That is the manufacturer’s claim; it is not evidence here of independent certification verification or an immersion test. Do not treat the earbuds as waterproof.

Calls, multipoint and the app
The H1E is listed with a dual-microphone system, and the FAQ says the earbuds can connect to more than one device simultaneously. Heavys also says its mobile app provides a five-band EQ and firmware updates. These details establish the advertised feature set, but not call quality, switching reliability, app behavior or the quality of the EQ implementation. Heavys FAQ.
Those are important everyday-use checks: try calls in quiet and noisy surroundings, switch between the devices you actually use, and confirm whether the app connects and applies EQ as expected. Simultaneous connection does not by itself tell you how quickly or predictably audio will move between devices.
Price, availability and the rating shown on Heavys’ site
When the official product page was accessed in 2026, it displayed $189 USD for limited-edition designs alongside a struck-through $239 price. The catalog showed H1E variants from $167 USD. These are dynamic official-site offers, not a stable list price; color, promotion, location and timing may affect what appears. Check the live listing for current availability and price. Verdict: promising feature list, unproven listening performance
The Heavys H1E’s published features—multiple codecs, ANC, app EQ and a selection of ear tips—make it a plausible all-purpose earbud on paper. The evidence available here does not establish whether its sound does justice to metal, whether ANC and transparency work well, or whether its battery matches the estimate in everyday use. Treat the H1E as a product to audition and verify, not a proven specialist recommendation based on specifications alone.
