What is JJK: Jū Heisōgata Joshikōsei Wordless Record?
The title is a mobile game adaptation of illustrator neco’s Heavily Armed High School Girls setting. MANTANWEB described it on October 14, 2026, as an idle RPG for smartphones. Its structure is built around observing a cast of heavily equipped high-school girls as they move between dangerous confrontations and more ordinary moments.

The cat’s viewpoint
The most distinctive announced feature is the player’s viewpoint. Rie Takahashi, who voices Touka, said in the published comment: The player’s perspective is, surprisingly, that of a cat.
That makes the player an observer or caretaker within the fiction rather than a conventional action-game avatar. The announcement pairs that perspective with severe battles, daily-life scenes and ASMR functionality, but it does not yet explain the exact menus, progression systems or interaction rules.
What the announcement does not establish
No authoritative statistical figures, battle-system specifications or detailed character roster were published in the material available by October 16. You should therefore treat descriptions such as “idle” and “cat perspective” as the confirmed high-level concept, not as proof of particular mechanics such as automatic rewards, a pet system, real-time combat or offline progression.
Is the game released yet?
No. The October 16, 2026 status report placed the game in preregistration. A launch date had not been announced, and live App Store and Google Play listings for the finished game were not available at that time. Readers could not legitimately install the completed game from an official store on the basis of the preregistration announcement alone.
What preregistration means here
Preregistration signals that the publisher is collecting interest before release. It is not the same as a playable launch, early-access approval or a public beta. Launch-date expectations
There is no published release day to convert into a countdown. Avoid articles, videos or social posts that present a specific date as official unless that date appears in a later announcement from the publisher or in a live first-party store listing. The confirmed status is simply “in preregistration” as of October 16, 2026.
Which platforms are confirmed?
Only Apple’s iOS ecosystem and Google’s Android ecosystem have been announced. That covers compatible iPhone, iPad and Android smartphone or tablet devices once the final listings are published, but it does not guarantee support for every model running those operating systems.
- iOS: confirmed as a smartphone/tablet platform.
- Android: confirmed as a smartphone/tablet platform.
- PC, Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo systems and web browsers: no version was confirmed in the cited announcement coverage.
Do not infer a PC or console edition from the franchise, screenshots or the fact that the game is an RPG. A separate platform would require its own official announcement or store listing. Until then, claims about Windows, macOS, console or browser availability are unverified.
How much storage does it need?
No download size or required free-storage figure has been published. There is also no official minimum iOS version, Android version, processor class, RAM requirement or performance recommendation. Any number circulating before a first-party listing appears is not an established requirement for this game.

Where the real requirement will appear
The eventual App Store and Google Play pages are the authoritative compatibility references. Check the listing for the initial download size, the amount of free space recommended for installation and updates, supported operating-system versions, age rating and device compatibility. A game can require more free space than its initial package because the operating system may need room to unpack files and because later voice, graphics or event data can add to the installed footprint.
Practical preparation without guessing
- Wait for the official store page in your account’s region.
- Read the listed minimum operating-system version and compatible-device information before downloading.
- Keep more free space than the package size if the store or installer recommends it; do not assume the download number equals the final installed size.
- Install only from the official store listing once the game is released. A third-party package cannot establish the publisher’s supported specifications.
Because no figures are available, it is too early to label the game as lightweight, demanding or suitable for older phones.
Does it support a controller or gamepad?
Controller compatibility has not been announced. The available status information does not confirm Bluetooth, wired USB, accessibility-switch, console-style gamepad or keyboard input.

The idle-RPG format does not prove that a controller is supported or needed. Many mobile RPGs are designed around touch controls, but that general pattern cannot substitute for a statement about this specific app. If controller play matters to you, wait for the final store description, an in-game control-settings screen or a publisher announcement that names supported input devices.

What to verify after release
- Whether controller support is listed as a feature rather than merely working accidentally on some devices.
- Whether both iOS and Android support the same controllers.
- Whether menus, text entry and account screens remain usable without touch input.
- Whether the game allows remapping, vibration control or accessibility alternatives.
Until one of those sources confirms compatibility, the accurate answer is not announced.

Offline play is undocumented. No statement confirms that battles, daily-life scenes, ASMR content, account access or idle rewards function without a network connection. Conversely, there is no published rule saying that a permanent connection is required.
Why “idle” does not answer the question
An idle game may calculate progress on the device, on a server, or through a combination of both. It may also require a connection for authentication, event data, advertisements, purchases, cloud saves or reward claims even when combat appears automatic. “Idle RPG” therefore cannot be used as evidence of airplane-mode support.

Offline details still missing
- Whether the app starts and loads an account without a connection.
- Whether battles continue while the app is closed or offline.
- Whether accumulated rewards can be collected later.
- Whether energy, timers or event missions pause when disconnected.
- Whether downloaded voice or ASMR assets can be played offline.
- How the game handles a connection loss during a battle or purchase.
When the game launches, check its store description and in-game help for explicit wording about network requirements. If no such wording appears, assume that online availability may be needed for at least some functions rather than promising yourself full offline play.

What regions and languages will be supported?
A Japanese preregistration campaign was reported, but international territories were not confirmed. Final interface languages and voice languages were also not announced. The existence of a Japanese campaign does not establish a worldwide launch or an English-language version.
Region matters for more than text. Store availability, age ratings, payment options, event schedules and account migration can differ by country. Check the store page associated with your Apple ID or Google account when listings go live; a listing visible in Japan may not be downloadable in another territory.
Will it use gacha, subscriptions or advertising?
The business model was not announced. There is no confirmed information about gacha, subscriptions, advertising, premium currency, paid items, a one-time purchase or a free-to-play structure. Do not assign a monetization model merely because the title is an idle RPG.

What should prospective players do now?
- Use official announcements for status. The reliable position as of October 16, 2026 is preregistration, not release.
- Wait for a first-party store listing. That is where platform compatibility, storage, operating-system requirements and regional availability should be documented.
- Do not sideload “early” packages. An unofficial installer cannot prove that the game is genuine, supported or safe, and it may not represent the final build.
- Recheck input and network requirements. Look specifically for controller wording and offline or connection requirements rather than inferring them from the genre.
- Review payment information before spending. Pricing and monetization have not been announced, so there is no verified cost to quote yet.
How does the game relate to the physical merchandise?
Good Smile’s official shop lists Heavily Armed High School Girls figure merchandise. Those figures are collectibles connected to neco’s project, not copies of the mobile game and not a way to access it. Stock, pricing and regional shipping for merchandise are separate from the app’s release status.
What details should future updates settle?
When an official listing or launch announcement arrives, the useful comparison points are:
- Available countries and storefronts.
- Required iOS and Android versions.
- Initial download and recommended free storage.
- Supported device classes and performance guidance.
- Touch, Bluetooth and wired-controller support.
- Connection requirements, offline rewards and recovery after disconnection.
- Interface and voice languages.
- Monetization, in-app purchases and subscription terms.
- Confirmed launch date and whether preregistration converts automatically into installation.
Until those items are published, the firm answers remain limited but clear: iOS and Android are the only confirmed platforms; the game was unreleased and in preregistration on October 16, 2026; and storage, controller support, offline play, launch timing, price and international availability were still unannounced.
