HD Fire Protect IPO Opens Today: What the 31.73% GMP Estimate Means—and How to Decide

HD Fire Protect’s IPO bidding window is open from October 13 to October 15, 2026, at ₹258–₹271 per share. A third-party tracker reported an unofficial ₹86 grey-market premium on October 11, implying a ₹357 listing estimate and a 31.73% premium to the upper band. That is a dated market signal, not a promised return. Without verified final-offer details and financials, the available facts do not support a confident apply recommendation; decide only after checking the final RHP against your own risk tolerance and investment horizon.

HD Fire Protect IPO: key offer details

Detail What is reported Source and qualification
Bidding dates October 13–15, 2026 National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) active issue information, accessed October 13, 2026
Price band ₹258–₹271 per equity share NSE active issue information, accessed October 13, 2026
Payment method ASBA NSE says investors must use the ASBA facility for payment; follow the current instructions from your bank or broker
Lot size 55 shares RR Finance issue listing, accessed October 13, 2026; secondary source, so confirm in the final offer document
Cost of one lot at the upper band ₹14,905 before applicable charges Calculated from the 55-share lot reported by RR Finance and the ₹271 upper band reported by NSE; confirm the application details against the final offer document

The lot-cost figure is the amount for one lot at the upper end of the band, not a statement about allotment or the amount ultimately debited. Application cutoffs and mandate instructions can depend on the bank or broker’s current process.

What the 31.73% grey-market premium does—and does not—say

ET Now’s October 11, 2026 GMP table recorded a ₹86 grey-market premium against the ₹271 upper price band. Adding those figures gives an implied estimate of ₹357; dividing ₹86 by ₹271 gives 31.73%.

That calculation describes the tracker’s dated indication, not an exchange-traded price or a dependable forecast. Grey-market indications are unofficial and can change; another tracker recorded a different value on October 12. The October 11 figure should therefore not be presented as the live GMP for October 13, or treated as evidence that listing gains will occur.

What the available facts establish about the company—and what remains to check

HD Fire Protect is described as an Indian manufacturer and supplier of fire-protection equipment and systems. That high-level description does not establish the company’s precise product portfolio, customer or geographic concentration, financial performance, valuation, or principal risks.

A draft RHP describes an offer for sale by selling shareholders, but it contains blank offer-price fields. A draft is not enough to establish the final offer structure or price. Check the definitive RHP and current exchange notices for the final structure, offer price, promoter sale and retained ownership, financial statements, risk factors, reservation details, and any use of proceeds.

Apply or skip? Use the final offer document, not the GMP, as your decision test

The verified issue dates, price range, ASBA requirement, and dated GMP indication explain the offer mechanics and market chatter. They do not by themselves answer whether the IPO is suitable. A reasoned decision depends on information that must be confirmed in the final RHP, rather than inferred from a grey-market premium.

Consider applying only if you can assess these points

  • Valuation versus performance: Compare the final offer valuation with the company’s reported financial performance and the basis used to justify the price.
  • Business concentration: Review the disclosed product mix, customers, and geographic exposure, including whether the company relies heavily on a small number of customers or markets.
  • Shareholder selling and ownership: Check who is selling shares, how much is being sold, and what ownership remains after the offer.
  • Risks: Read the final RHP’s risk factors rather than relying on a general company description or a listing-premium estimate.
  • Fit with your plan: Decide whether your intended holding period and tolerance for loss fit the risks and valuation you identify.

Reasons to wait or skip

  • You have not reviewed the definitive RHP or cannot explain the valuation using the disclosed financials.
  • Your decision depends mainly on the ₹86 GMP entry or an expectation of a quick listing gain.
  • You are not comfortable with the risks, share-sale structure, or business concentration disclosed in the final documents.

These are decision criteria, not findings that any particular risk is present. The available facts do not substantiate a peer ranking or a firm recommendation to apply or skip.

What to confirm before submitting an application

  1. Open the latest exchange notice and definitive RHP. Verify the final dates, price, offer structure, financials, valuation, ownership changes, risk factors, and reservation details. Do not rely on a draft document for final terms.
  2. Check the live application flow with your bank or broker. NSE specifies ASBA for payment. Follow the provider’s current steps and confirm any UPI mandate or application cutoff that applies to your route.
  3. Recheck the information that can change. Confirm the issue timetable and any timestamped GMP indication close to your decision. Do not treat the October 11 GMP figure as current on October 13.
  4. Make the decision from the offer and your own circumstances. Apply only if the final terms and disclosed risks make sense for your investment plan, not because an unofficial tracker implies a premium.

The NSE issue information excerpt does not establish a listing date. Secondary issue listings conflict, reporting October 20 and October 21, 2026, so use the definitive offer document or a current exchange notice rather than either secondary date.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
