Is HBO Max included with Amazon Prime?
No. HBO Max is a paid Prime Video add-on, billed separately from Prime membership. In the U.S., Amazon lists Prime at $14.99 per month or $139 per year. That membership cost is relevant if you need Prime, but Amazon says Prime Video subscriptions are also accessible to customers without Prime membership. Your total depends on whether you already have Prime or another way to access Prime Video.

Which HBO Max plans can you get through Prime Video?

How to change your plan
If you subscribe through Prime Video, Max says you cannot switch plans in place. To move between the available options:

- Resubscribe through Prime Video and select the plan you want.
Plan changes and billing are handled through the Prime Video subscription route, so use your Prime Video account to manage the add-on.
