Does Hawaiian Airlines have Wi-Fi?
Yes. Hawaiian describes Starlink internet as available on its transpacific Airbus A330 and A321neo aircraft, including international aircraft. The airline announced the Airbus rollout on September 24, 2024, for flights between Hawaii and the continental United States, Asia and Oceania. Its 2025 Salt Lake City route announcement also described free Starlink on that route’s Airbus A321neo.

These fleet and route descriptions do not guarantee that a particular departure will have Wi-Fi. Aircraft assignments and installation status can change. Hawaiian says Starlink installation on its Boeing 787 aircraft is planned, but its current Wi-Fi page does not give a completion date. Check your itinerary’s aircraft information close to departure and look for the “High Speed Internet by Starlink” decal at the aircraft door.

Is Hawaiian Airlines Wi-Fi free?
Hawaiian says Starlink Wi-Fi is free on equipped Airbus A330 and A321neo aircraft. Its connection instructions do not describe a payment portal or registration page. The free-service description applies to aircraft equipped with Starlink; it should not be taken as a promise that Wi-Fi will be available on every flight.
How do you connect to Hawaiian Airlines Wi-Fi?
- At the aircraft door, look for the “High Speed Internet by Starlink” decal to help confirm Starlink is installed.
- Enable Wi-Fi on your personal device.
- In the available network list, select the Starlink network shown onboard. Hawaiian’s page displays two names—“Starlink Internet on Hawaiian Airlines” in its FAQ and “Starlink WiFi on HawaiianAir” in its main instructions—so use the Starlink option that appears on your flight.
- Connect. Hawaiian says there is no registration page or payment portal to complete.
The airline says Wi-Fi-capable personal devices can connect; a specific make or model is not required.

What can you do with the connection?
Hawaiian says passengers can use the connection for streaming, live games, email, last-minute trip bookings and social media. It explicitly prohibits voice and video calls.

Will Wi-Fi work on international Hawaiian Airlines flights?
Hawaiian describes Starlink as available on its transpacific A330 and A321neo aircraft, including international aircraft, and its 2024 rollout announcement covers flights between Hawaii and Asia and Oceania as well as the continental United States. Availability still depends on the aircraft assigned to your specific flight; confirm the aircraft and check for the Starlink decal when boarding.
