Three people were arrested in Hisar on October 3, 2026, in a case alleging that forged medical and first-aid certificates were used to obtain or renew driving licences, Hindustan Times reported. Police had registered the case against six people; the arrests do not establish guilt.
Who was arrested, and what is alleged?
Hindustan Times named the three arrested as Manmohan, Sunil Bansal and Vimal Kumar. The report said police recovered from one accused a stamp allegedly used to prepare fake medical certificates. These are allegations in an ongoing investigation, not a finding of guilt. Hindustan Times, October 3, 2026

The case was registered against six people on a complaint by Sunaina, identified in the report as the CM Flying Hisar range in-charge. The six people named in the case and the three people reported arrested are distinct counts; the available reports do not identify the status of the others.
What document checks led to the case?
Medical certificates submitted for renewals
Investigators examined medical certificates attached to three driving-licence renewal applications. According to Hindustan Times, the certificates were sent to Civil Hospital, Hisar, for verification, and hospital officials said they had no corresponding records. This is a reported verification result, not a court-tested finding. Hindustan Times, August 17, 2026
First-aid documents in a new-licence application
The earlier report said the CM Flying Squad found a mismatch between the receipt for a first-aid certificate and the associated training certificate in one new-licence application. The report does not establish how that discrepancy arose or whether the application resulted in a licence.
How the inquiry began and what remains unresolved
The CM Flying Squad reportedly began checking licence records after receiving information that private typists in Hisar were helping applicants with allegedly forged documents. Civil Lines police registered the case following the complaint, according to the October report.
