If Halloween: The Game DLC is missing, first check that you’re signed into the platform account that owns it, then verify the add-on is owned and installed in your library or store. The route differs by platform: Steam has a DLC list in the game’s Properties, PlayStation uses the game’s Add-Ons section, Nintendo uses eShop and Virtual Game Card checks, and Xbox uses game and add-on management. Restart the game after installation and check the relevant in-game area.
First, identify what is actually missing
A missing item can mean the purchase is tied to another account, the add-on is not installed, the game and DLC regions do not match, or the content is available only inside the game rather than as a separate download. Check these in order before reinstalling the whole game.

- Confirm the account. Make sure the console or Steam account currently signed in is the one used to buy the game or DLC.
- Check ownership. Look in the platform’s purchase or transaction history if the add-on is not listed as owned. PlayStation specifically recommends checking transaction history when a purchased game or add-on cannot be found (PlayStation Support).
- Check installation status. Use the platform-specific steps below to see whether the add-on is available and downloaded.
- Restart the game. Once installation finishes, close and relaunch Halloween: The Game, then check the relevant character, cosmetic, or comic area.
The official sources do not establish one in-game menu location for every Deluxe item, so an add-on may not appear as a separate file or immediately at the start of play.
Find and install the DLC on your platform
Steam
- Open Library and select Halloween: The Game.
- Open the game’s Properties, then select DLC.
- Review the owned add-ons and their installation state. If an owned item is not installed, enable its DLC entry and allow Steam to download it.

PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4
- PS5: Go to Games home > Game Library > Your Collection, select the game, then scroll to Add-Ons and download the item.
- PS4: Go to Library > Purchased, choose the game, open PlayStation Store > Your Add-Ons, and select the download arrow beside the content.
- PlayStation App: Add-ons are also available from the game’s library entry.
If you expected to own an item but cannot find it, check the transaction history for the account that made the purchase. PlayStation’s step-by-step guidance is at How to download games and add-ons from PlayStation Store.
Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch
- Open Nintendo eShop with the Nintendo Account used to purchase the game or DLC, and locate the specific add-on.
- Check its purchase and Virtual Game Card status. Where the item is available to redownload, select it and let the download finish.
- Launch the game after the download is complete.
If you use a physical game copy, compare the game’s supported region with both the Nintendo Account region and the DLC region. A region mismatch can prevent the content from working with that copy. See Nintendo’s missing digital content guidance.

Xbox Series X|S
Open the console’s game and add-on management area for Halloween: The Game, then check whether the owned add-on is installed. Xbox’s Halloween listing identifies the game for Xbox Series X|S and lists a separate Digital Deluxe Upgrade (Xbox: Buy Halloween: The Game). A general console guide from SEGA describes checking managed game add-ons and matching game and account regions; if the menu differs or the item is still absent, use SEGA’s console DLC guidance as a general reference and contact Xbox Support for platform-specific help.

Know which Halloween content you should expect
The Digital Deluxe Upgrade is separate from the base game. Steam says it requires the base game, while Xbox lists the upgrade as a related add-on and includes it with the Deluxe Edition listing; storefront availability and listings can vary by territory (Steam store listing; Xbox Digital Deluxe Upgrade).

Official preorder information describes the Digital Deluxe contents as an exclusive Inmate Michael Myers skin, two civilians (Alexis and Richard), advance access to a Laurie Strode cosmetic, and a digital comic. It also says the Phantom Michael Myers skin was a digital preorder exclusive and would not be available for purchase after the preorder period. - Recheck that the purchase belongs to the currently signed-in account and region.
- Open the platform store listing for the exact add-on and confirm it is marked as owned, rather than assuming that owning the base game includes an upgrade.
- Confirm the download completed, then fully close and relaunch the game.
- For a Nintendo physical copy, verify region compatibility between the game, DLC, and account.
- For Xbox, seek Xbox Support help if the add-on management controls or entitlement status do not match the general console guidance.
The official Halloween news index lists Patch Notes 1.1.0 dated 6 October 2026, but it does not establish that this patch fixes DLC visibility. Check the official Halloween news page for updates without assuming a patch resolves an account or installation issue.
