Unofficial route guides place the Hall of Murmurs beneath Castigator’s Keep; the route begins at the keep Beacon and leads down to an elevator. One guide reports two Coin pouches worth 750 Coins total, plus a Laterite and the Foul Knight’s Gloom drop.
Where is the Hall of Murmurs entrance?
Use the Beacon at Castigator’s Keep as your landmark. An unofficial route guide places the Hall beneath the keep, in the Outskirts of Mammon, south or southwest of the Beacon. From the courtyard, look for a pit or stone stairs descending underground, then follow the short passage. The regional placement is not consistent across sources: an interactive map labels the Hall an interior anchor in The Unfound Path, so treat the physical route as the more useful locator. What rewards are in the Hall of Murmurs?
The MS II Wiki guide reports two Coin pouches in the fireplace room: 500 Coins on a caged box near the entrance and 250 Coins behind it. That is 750 Coins total. It also places one Laterite in the fireplace. An unofficial database independently lists two Coin pouches and one forge material, but its accessible page text does not state their values. Taking the Laterite awakens the nearby kneeling figure, which becomes a hostile Foul Knight. Defeat it to collect Gloom. The guide identifies the drop but does not establish how much Gloom it provides, so no exact amount can be confirmed from these sources. MS II Wiki guide

Is there a hidden Coin stash?
That claim is disputed. One current unofficial guide describes a pale-marked false wall on the canyon’s right side before the shack and reports an extra stash of about 700 Coins. The MS II Wiki route guide says there is no additional reward route beyond the two pouches, Laterite, and Foul Knight’s Gloom. You can inspect the right canyon wall, but neither the stash nor its reported value is confirmed. Guide reporting the hidden stash · MS II Wiki guide
Is Egon part of this dungeon?
No. Egon is described as an NPC in the central tower of Castigator’s Keep, separate from Hall of Murmurs. The Hall’s Coins are distinct from Gloom, and clearing the dungeon does not complete Egon’s interaction. Egon guide
