Sony’s November 7, 2024 PS5 Pro announcement describes the console’s hardware as offering 67% more GPU compute units than the then-current PS5, 28% faster memory, and up to 45% faster rendering. Those are console-level claims. They are not measurements for this game.

The same announcement qualifies the enhancements in a way that matters here:

In other words, a PS5 Pro upgrade exists only for games that have been specifically enhanced. Nothing in the sources reviewed shows that Hail to the Rainbow is one of them.

- Look for a PS5 Pro enhancement notice on the game’s store page. If none is present, treat the game as not enhanced.
- If no PlayStation listing appears, the game is currently a PC title only, and the Steam page is the verified purchase path.

If you want to play Hail to the Rainbow now, the verified route is the Windows PC version on Steam, with a PlayStation controller if you prefer one.
