The 75-inch Haier P7 Pro makes a strong case as a living-room entertainment TV: in HT Tech’s month-long review, it delivered colourful, detailed viewing, impactful bass and responsive-feeling console gaming. But reflections, blooming, light bleed on the tested sample and software stutters keep it from being an all-rounder. Its “Gaming 120Hz” feature is DLG processing, not native 4K/120Hz input.
What was tested, and which model is this?
HT Tech reviewer Shubh Bhushan spent a month with a Haier-provided 75-inch 75P7 Pro, which the company was to receive back after the review. He watched anime on Crunchyroll and Lanterns on JioHotstar, and played PS5 games including Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Judgment. He rated it 8.3/10 and labelled it “HT Verified Recommended.” Those findings describe one reviewer’s experience with one sample, not a controlled lab test or a guarantee about every unit. The reviewed 75P7 Pro is a 75-inch (189 cm), 4K H-QLED television running Google TV, with a 3840 × 2160 resolution. Haier’s 75-inch product page lists HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support, alongside four HDMI inputs, two USB ports, Ethernet, Bluetooth and a headphone output. Bhushan found colourful anime imagery engaging and reported good detail and contrast while watching 4K HDR10 and Dolby Vision content. Movie picture mode was his preferred setting. These are viewing impressions rather than measured brightness, contrast or colour-gamut results.

Room lighting was a practical drawback. With four 10 W ceiling lights in his room, reflections on the glossy screen interfered with dark scenes enough that he sometimes changed position. That makes the P7 Pro a less straightforward fit for a room with bright lights or windows reflecting directly opposite the screen; it is not a universal assessment of performance under all lighting conditions.
The review also noted blooming around bright subjects in a dark game scene and light bleed on the sample. Haier had not disclosed the local-dimming zone count in the review, and the reported observations do not establish how common the sample’s light bleed is or what caused it.
Gaming: DLG is not native 4K/120Hz
Haier promotes Gaming 120Hz (DLG), MEMC, VRR and ALLM in its India launch announcement. The key distinction is that DLG is a processing mode intended to create a 120Hz-like motion effect on a 60Hz TV; it is not native 4K/120Hz input. The review describes all four HDMI inputs as supporting 4K at up to 60Hz. DLG can involve duplicated frames and potential resolution or detail trade-offs. Haier’s launch announcement describes the marketed feature set; the review discusses how it behaved in use.

That is a subjective observation in one game, not a measured performance result. He also cautioned that the TV’s gaming bar showed 120 fps with DLG, but that counter should not be treated as an absolute measure of frame rate.

Audio: action has weight, dialogue can get lost
The 75-inch specification lists 50 W, 2.1-channel audio with a built-in subwoofer. Bhushan heard pronounced bass and a convincing sense of atmosphere in action scenes. During heavy effects, however, dialogue could require a volume increase and faint high-frequency details were harder to make out. He often preferred Dolby Atmos off because he heard added reverberation. Haier says the integrated subwoofer configuration is available on 55-inch and larger P7 Pro sizes; smaller variants should not be assumed to share this audio arrangement.
Google TV, connections and everyday use
The reviewer found Google TV generally usable for menus and apps, but noticed brief stutters, particularly when switching inputs. He measured startup at approximately 42 seconds on the review unit. Haier lists 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage for the 75-inch model.
Haier’s launch announcement also mentions HaiCast screen mirroring and Bluetooth Speaker Mode. Bhushan reported that phone casting worked for him but MacBook mirroring did not, so compatibility with a particular device should be checked rather than assumed. For ports, the official 75-inch page lists four HDMI inputs, two USB ports, Ethernet, Bluetooth and a headphone output.

Bhushan liked the minimalist front appearance and found the ports accessible. He used the included stands and observed wobble when gently pushing the television; he relayed that installation engineers told him the design accounted for it. This is a review observation, not a durability assessment.

Who should consider the Haier P7 Pro?
The 75-inch P7 Pro is worth considering if a large screen, vivid-looking 4K viewing, bass-forward built-in sound and console gaming features are priorities, and the room can be arranged to limit screen reflections. It is a less compelling match for a bright, reflective room or for someone specifically seeking native 4K/120Hz gaming. Before choosing a size, compare viewing distance, current price, warranty terms, the refresh-rate requirement and the audio setup you want; the review does not provide a direct head-to-head comparison with another TV.
