The Haier HDW13G1W is a freestanding dishwasher rated for 13 place settings, but CHOICE lists this exact model as discontinued. Its published specifications give useful figures for size, water and energy use; accessible independent cleaning and drying test results are not available, so those specifications alone cannot establish how well it performs.
What are the Haier HDW13G1W’s specifications?
Haier’s model-specific specification sheet lists these figures. Its publication year is not stated.

| Specification | Published figure |
|---|---|
| Type | Freestanding dishwasher |
| Capacity | 13 place settings |
| Dimensions (H × W × D) | 850 × 598 × 598 mm |
| Wash programs | 6 |
| Energy rating | 3 stars |
| Energy use | 273 kWh/year on the Normal Eco programme |
| Water rating | 4.5 stars |
| Water use | 11.8 L per Normal Eco cycle |
| Warranty | Two years, parts and labour |
These are specification-sheet and product-label figures, not results from an independent test. The annual energy figure is specified for the Normal Eco programme; the water figure is per cycle on that programme. Confirm warranty terms for the particular unit, especially if it is old stock or used.
How much water does it use?
The Haier model specification sheet lists 11.8 L per Normal Eco cycle. That figure describes the named programme, not every wash program or every household’s actual consumption. The sheet’s 4.5-star water rating is a separate label measure.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Is the HDW13G1W any good?
The available information is not enough to give a reliable verdict on cleaning, drying, noise, cycle duration or reliability. CHOICE has a page for the exact model and labels it discontinued, but the Expert Rating and laboratory measures are members-only on the accessible page. No accessible independent test score or verified first-hand test result is available here.
Appliances Online displays an overall customer rating of 3.6, with 7 five-star, 4 four-star, 1 three-star, 3 two-star and 2 one-star ratings. This is a retailer-displayed feedback snapshot, not a controlled test or a representative reliability rate. It should not be treated as proof that the machine cleans well or is dependable.

If assessing one for sale, look for comparable independent test results for cleaning and drying, and check noise and cycle duration where reliable measurements exist. The model’s star ratings and programme consumption are useful for specification comparisons, but do not answer those performance questions.
Is the Haier HDW13G1W discontinued?
CHOICE lists the HDW13G1W as discontinued. A retained retailer product page does not establish that new stock is currently available. CHOICE’s displayed $499 is not confirmed as a current market price.

Before buying, confirm that the seller has the exact model in stock, and check the return policy, warranty coverage and availability of service parts. A listing alone is not evidence of current availability.
What to check before buying or installing one
- Confirm the model. Check the rating plate or product documentation for the exact code HDW13G1W. Similar Haier model numbers are not interchangeable. Haier’s 2026 quick reference guide is for HDW13V1G1, a different model, and does not establish the HDW13G1W’s features.
- Check the available space. Compare your space with the published product dimensions of 850 mm high, 598 mm wide and 598 mm deep. These are appliance dimensions, not a confirmed cabinetry-opening size. Use the full manual or installer guidance to establish required clearances.
- Verify the deal and support. Confirm live stock, return terms, warranty applicability to that unit and access to service parts before paying.
How to compare it with another dishwasher
Because the HDW13G1W is listed as discontinued and its accessible independent test results are limited, compare it with a current model on evidence that can be checked side by side:
