Gyre and LiveReacting both host prerecorded YouTube streams in the cloud, so your computer can be off after setup. LiveReacting is the more natural fit if you want its playlist and scheduling tools alongside interactive live-show features. Gyre may suit creators who need several simultaneous broadcasts, but its entry plan is reported to lack playlists and scheduling; those features are listed on its higher Start+ tier. The best choice depends on the number of concurrent streams, the plan features you need, and the storage and file limits for your video library.
How the two services work
LiveReacting
LiveReacting describes a workflow in which you upload prerecorded video or music, arrange it into a playlist, connect a YouTube channel or stream key, and run the broadcast on its servers. Its 24/7 page also describes ordering, shuffle, looping, scheduled starts, and a limited free test. The same service offers broader interactive live-show features. These are vendor descriptions, not independently verified performance findings. LiveReacting’s 24/7 streaming page
Gyre
Gyre describes uploading files to its storage, converting them for streaming, arranging and scheduling a looping playlist, and running broadcasts on cloud infrastructure. It also markets plans with capacity for multiple streams. Claims about growing audiences, watch time, or retention are promotional claims, not guaranteed results. Gyre
In either case, cloud hosting means your computer does not need to remain on once the stream is configured, according to the vendors’ descriptions.

Which service fits your setup?
Choose based on concurrent broadcasts
Count how many channels need to broadcast at the same time, not just how many channels you own. The comparison reports up to four HD streams on Gyre Start+. Check the provider’s current plan page for the precise stream allowance and whether it applies to your intended configuration.
Check playlist and scheduling access
If you need a looping playlist or scheduled start, the comparison says those features are absent from Gyre Start and included on Start+. LiveReacting’s 24/7 page describes playlists and scheduled starts. Confirm that the current tier you are considering includes the workflow you need.

Match storage to your library
Estimate the total size of the videos you plan to keep uploaded, then check both the plan’s storage allowance and its maximum file size. The comparison lists 100 GB per stream and a 10 GB file maximum for LiveReacting, and 75 GB for Gyre Start+. Those figures may change and should be verified with the providers.
Pay for production features only if you will use them
LiveReacting also describes interactive-show tools such as overlays, polls, and trivia. They may be useful for shows that need audience interaction, but they are not a requirement for simply looping prerecorded video. Compare the specific features available on the plan you would buy.

Before you stream: YouTube eligibility, rights, and monetization
Confirm channel eligibility and stream limits
YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the prior 90 days. The creator must be at least 16 to livestream. YouTube’s setup help lists a maximum of 10 active streams per channel and 3 per stream key at the same time. Limits and eligibility rules can change; check YouTube’s live-stream setup requirements before configuring a broadcast.
Make sure you have rights to everything in the stream
YouTube requires live content to comply with its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service, and it reserves the right to restrict live streaming. Secure the necessary rights for all video, music, and visuals in your playlist; using a cloud service does not grant those rights. YouTube’s live-stream setup help

Do not assume repetition qualifies a channel for monetization
YouTube’s monetization policy applies to live streams and expects monetized content to be original and authentic. It says content should not be mass-produced, generic, or repetitive, and reviewers may assess a channel as a whole, including its theme and the content responsible for the most watch time. A streaming service does not make repetitive programming eligible for monetization. On July 15, 2025, YouTube clarified that repetitive or mass-produced content falls under its “inauthentic content” label, describing this as a clarification of existing expectations rather than a change to its reused-content policy. Read YouTube’s channel monetization policies.
