A Goodyear Zeppelin NT wearing Grand Theft Auto VI and Vice City graphics has begun traveling south from Ohio, with its first documented leg ending in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The aircraft, Wingfoot Three (tail number N3A), may be repositioned toward South Florida, but Rockstar Games and Goodyear have not published an official route. That means reports of a specific Miami-area appearance remain unconfirmed.
What the GTA VI blimp is
The aircraft is Wingfoot Three, a Goodyear Zeppelin NT registered as N3A. Although commonly called a blimp, the Zeppelin NT is an airship with an internal supporting structure rather than a simple, conventional gas-pressure envelope. Its Vice City-themed exterior makes it part of the real-world marketing campaign for Grand Theft Auto VI, whose fictional setting includes Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.

Ray Ampoloquio of GTA BOOM reported that the airship could be followed on FlightAware under tail N3A. Photographs showed the Grand Theft Auto VI branding while it was flying south from Ohio on October 12, 2026.
Where it has flown—and what is still speculation
FlightAware tracking cited by GTA BOOM showed the first reported leg departing Wingfoot Lake in Ohio and arriving at Smith Reynolds Airport in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. That segment covered about 343 miles, took roughly 4 hours and 21 minutes in the air, and averaged approximately 66 mph.

Airship watchers expected the next repositioning to point toward Pompano Beach or another South Florida location. GTAVice.net likewise described Florida as a possible destination. GamersExtra placed the aircraft within a larger Miami launch campaign while warning that no public itinerary tied it to a particular Florida appearance. None of those reports establishes that the blimp landed at Pompano Beach, Miami, Miami Beach or any other named South Florida site.
How to track a possible Florida appearance
- Search for tail N3A. Flight-tracking reports identified N3A as the aircraft’s searchable registration.
- Check the latest flight record. A Florida-bound leg would provide stronger evidence than promotional speculation, but a planned route can change because of weather, airspace, maintenance or scheduling.
- Verify the location independently. A photograph or eyewitness post can show the airship’s presence, but it does not by itself prove an official event, landing site or public viewing area.
- Look for an announcement from Rockstar or Goodyear. The companies had not issued a joint route announcement in the reporting available for this campaign.
Because the route is not officially published, readers should avoid treating social-media maps or predicted stops as a confirmed schedule. The safest description is that the Vice City airship has been documented in Ohio and North Carolina and was reported as potentially heading toward South Florida.

Where the blimp fits in Rockstar’s Miami promotion
The airship is only one visible piece of a broader campaign. Axios Miami reported a giant “Welcome to Vice City” sign at Kaseya Center, branded concession umbrellas on Miami Beach, ten new Wynwood murals and a partnership for a free Little Haiti block party.

GamersExtra also reported a “night in Vice City” Miami Heat event planned for November 18, 2026, one day before the game’s scheduled launch. The same coverage mentioned Dolphins stadium advertising and murals, while distinguishing confirmed activations from proposed airport and Miami Beach plans. A blimp is airborne and mobile; the other elements are fixed installations or scheduled events, so their confirmation status and visibility differ.

When Grand Theft Auto VI releases
Rockstar’s official product page lists November 19, 2026 as the release date. The game is listed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and Rockstar’s page provides pre-order links and related Vice City merchandise. The date is the scheduled launch date; it does not confirm that the blimp will appear in Miami on launch day.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What would confirm a South Florida sighting
- An official Rockstar or Goodyear announcement naming a destination, event or viewing time.
- A verifiable FlightAware record showing N3A reaching a South Florida airport or nearby route.
- Multiple time-stamped photographs or videos that can be matched to the aircraft’s registration and location.
- Event information from the venue hosting any associated activation.
Until one of those forms of evidence appears, “the GTA VI blimp is in South Florida” is too broad. The confirmed account is narrower: a Vice City-branded Goodyear Zeppelin NT flew from Ohio to North Carolina, and industry watchers reported that a Florida leg could follow as Rockstar’s November launch promotion expands.
