As of October 13, 2026, GTA VI is 37 calendar days from its announced November 19 release. In the meantime, AuraV Enhanced offers GTA V Enhanced PC players a graphics overhaul with path-traced lighting and shadows, ray-traced reflections, and volumetric clouds. The free AuraV Lite version includes the core effects; additional features are reserved for the separate Full early-access tier.
What AuraV Enhanced changes in GTA V
AuraV is a graphics mod for Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced on PC—not a mod for GTA VI. Its creator, Kypos, describes it as replacing the game’s sky with volumetric clouds and a physically based atmosphere, while adding path-traced lighting that lets light bounce between surfaces. The mod also adds ray-traced shadows from streetlights and glowing signs, plus ray-traced reflections cleaned up with NVIDIA DLSS Ray Reconstruction. The creator’s feature page is the primary source for what each edition includes.

AuraV Lite vs. Full early access
AuraV Lite is free to download and does not require an account. The creator offers AuraV Full as a separate Patreon early-access tier. The official feature page does not state its price or how long the early-access arrangement will last.

Requirements and mode limitations
- Game and operating system: GTA V Enhanced on PC, running Windows 10 or Windows 11.
- Graphics hardware: The creator specifies an NVIDIA RTX graphics card for path tracing. No minimum RTX model or recommended GPU tier is stated.
- Supported play mode: Story Mode only. The creator says AuraV does not work in GTA Online.
- Loader: AuraV includes its own loader; a separate ASI loader is not required.
- Other graphics tools: The creator says ReShade and RenoDX can coexist with AuraV, but neither combination is supported.
The creator does not publish a benchmark or quantified performance impact, so the supported hardware requirement alone cannot tell you what frame rate to expect on a particular PC.

How to install and open AuraV settings
- Download the edition you want from the AuraV creator page.
- Unzip the downloaded files next to
GTA5_Enhanced.exein the game’s installation folder. - Start GTA V Enhanced and enter Story Mode.
- Press
F10to open the in-game settings. The creator and contemporaneous coverage both identify this shortcut.
AuraV’s creator states that the mod is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
GTA VI release date: what “just over a month away” means
Rockstar announced on November 6, 2025 that “Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19, 2026.” That makes the game 37 calendar days away on October 13, 2026; the countdown changes daily, so the relative phrasing is date-specific. Rockstar’s customer-support page, last updated August 18, 2026, lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It also says the physical version’s box contains a download code and no disc.
