GTA Online Weekly Update, October 8–14, 2026: 3X GTA$ and Discounts

The GTA Online weekly update for October 8–14, 2026 is a Halloween event. Race, Survival and Halloween activities pay 3X GTA$ and RP, several other activities pay 2X, and a set of one-time challenges adds cash and cosmetic rewards. Most of the window closes on October 14. The exception is the month-long Halloween challenge, which runs through November 4.

Which activities pay a multiplier this week

Halloween Survivals and GTA+

The three named Survivals are the clearest multiplier difference in the week. The general event rate is 3X GTA$ and RP. For GTA+ members, iGrandTheftAuto reports a 6X Survival multiplier. Its coverage also says some collectibles and events double again for GTA+ members, but it does not list every affected activity. Check the in-game multiplier before you plan a session around a specific activity.

Where the sources disagree

GTABase lists Ghosts Exposed at 2X GTA$, which matches the detailed update coverage. Jack O’ Lanterns appear at 2X in both sources, but the wording on whether they pay RP differs between the two reports. Treat the GTA$ and RP entry for Jack O’ Lanterns as the reported figure rather than a confirmed one.

Adversary Mode challenge: GTA$100,000 and the Pink Skull Emissive Mask

Win two Adversary Modes by October 14. Rockstar Games’ official listing gives this as the reward for the October 8–14 challenge. The reward is a one-time payout.

Twilight Knife T-Shirt

Play GTA Online through October 14 to receive the Twilight Knife T-Shirt. Coverage from GTABase and iGrandTheftAuto describes this as a play-based reward rather than a task with a completion target.

Payphone Hits: GTA$500,000

Complete five Payphone Hits before October 14. The GTA$500,000 is deposited within 72 hours of completing the requirement. Finishing the fifth hit late in the window still counts, but the deposit arrives up to three days after completion.
