That wording matters because Leonida is part of the confirmed story geography, not merely a fan-made name or a leak. It tells you that the campaign’s locations and conflicts are intended to extend beyond Vice City proper.
GTA 5’s established contrast
GTA 5 is associated with Los Santos and the wider fictional state of San Andreas. The contrast is therefore geographic and tonal at the highest level: GTA 6 moves the headline location to Vice City and introduces Leonida, whereas GTA 5 uses Los Santos and San Andreas.

What “bigger map” means right now
Readers often ask whether GTA 6 will have a bigger map. The accurate answer is not confirmed. There is a meaningful difference between:

What has not been announced
Rockstar has not confirmed the outcomes of individual missions, the full cast, the ending, the exact structure of the conspiracy or how the relationship changes during the campaign. Trailer interpretation, leaked material and fan theories should not be presented as story facts.
