Rockstar frames the story around modern Vice City and the wider fictional state of Leonida. The synopsis places the criminal conspiracy across Leonida, making the setting broader than Vice City alone. When does GTA 6 release, and what platforms are listed?
As of October 5, 2026, Rockstar lists Grand Theft Auto VI for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The date and platforms are subject to change; check the official game page or Rockstar Store listing for the latest listing. The store identifies Rockstar Games as both developer and publisher.
