The Polygon Point It Out! listing dated October 14, 2026 confirms a discussion about the Grand Theft Auto VI leak wave, an unnamed gaming favorite supposedly moving to mobile, Epic Games’ “AI woes,” and a “sneaky favorite” for the year’s best AAA game. Only part of that package is independently established: GTA VI has a firm release date and price, while the specific Epic AI issue, a No Man’s Sky mobile release, and the alleged AAA winner remain unidentified in the available material.

Here is the evidence readers can rely on, separated from claims that still need the original episode or a dedicated announcement.

What the Polygon episode is about

The listing describes a Polygon Point It Out! discussion built around three talking points: the “Cyberleek” GTA VI leaks, Epic’s AI troubles, and a favorite game going to mobile. It also teases a “sneaky favorite” for AAA game of the year. The listing does not name the mobile game, identify the AI controversy, or disclose the game chosen as the favorite. Those omissions matter because the episode description is not enough to establish a product launch, a corporate dispute, or an award result.

GTA VI: the release details that are official

Take-Two Interactive opened preorders on June 25, 2026. Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a listed price of $79.99. Rockstar’s official GTA VI site repeats the date and platforms and positions PlayStation 5 as the platform on which the game “plays best.” The available announcements do not establish additional editions, regional pricing, or preorder bonuses.

Extended-look footage Captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5

Rockstar’s August 27 extended-look post says all of that footage was captured in-game on PlayStation 5. That is a statement about the source of the presentation, not a promise that Xbox Series X|S will receive different content or a lower-quality release.

What happened in the GTA VI leak wave

During the August 2026 leak wave, Axios reported that an anonymous hacker using the handle LEEK circulated at least six purported gameplay clips. Axios noted that the footage had not been officially authenticated at the time of its report. It also reported a temporary loss of about $2 billion in Take-Two’s market capitalization.

The incident was not a planned trailer rollout. In a statement quoted by Rockstar Report, Rockstar said: “It would be an understatement to say that having videos of Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay leak in this way has been heartbreaking for our team, and this is obviously not how we intended for you to see the game after all this time.” The wording confirms the unauthorized nature of the exposure and the studio’s response; it does not authenticate every clip or establish that every file attributed to the leak came from the same source.

Epic’s “AI woes” are not yet specified

Epic has officially announced that Unreal Engine 6 is in development. Epic’s Unreal Fest Chicago announcement says the engine is intended to let developers deploy games to traditional platforms, Fortnite, or their own live and potentially multi-product ecosystems.

That announcement does not identify the AI dispute, product failure, policy change, or service outage represented by the episode’s phrase “Epic’s AI woes.” Without the original conversation or a contemporaneous, dedicated source, it would be misleading to attach that phrase to a particular model, tool, executive decision, or incident. The defensible claim is limited to the UE6 announcement and its stated deployment ambition.

No Man’s Sky is still expanding, but a mobile release is unverified

Hello Games’ May 27, 2026 “The Swarm” update places No Man’s Sky in its tenth-anniversary cycle, with the anniversary arriving in August. The update adds the Hive of Glass threat, faction-based community cooperation, large space battles, and a new Gravity Gun activity.

An Xbox Wire anniversary article dated August 10, 2026 likewise presents No Man’s Sky as an ongoing exploration game reaching ten years. Neither official source confirms a mobile edition, a release date, supported phones or tablets, or a territory rollout. The mobile reference appears only in the Polygon episode listing, so readers should treat it as a topic for discussion rather than a product announcement.

The “best AAA game of the year” has not been named

The listing calls the choice a “sneaky favorite,” but supplies no title, review score, nominee list, voting method, or comparison criteria. There is therefore no substantiated winner to report. Naming a game would require the original Polygon episode or show notes.

Once the title is identified, a meaningful evaluation would need to distinguish review consensus from personal preference and examine technical performance, scope, originality, and player accessibility. None of those comparisons can be applied responsibly while the nominee itself is unknown.

How to read the roundup without overstating it

  • Use November 19, 2026, the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S launch platforms, and the $79.99 listed price when discussing GTA VI’s announced release.
  • Describe the August incident as purported clips circulated by the anonymous LEEK account; do not present unverified footage as authenticated gameplay.
  • Attribute Unreal Engine 6’s platform-and-ecosystem goals to Epic’s official announcement, while leaving the episode’s AI complaint unresolved.
  • Report No Man’s Sky’s 2026 anniversary updates as confirmed content, not evidence of a mobile port.
  • Do not name a game-of-the-year favorite until the episode or official notes identify it.

This leaves a clear dividing line: GTA VI’s schedule and the leak response are documented, while the mobile, AI, and AAA-award claims remain teasers awaiting specific sourcing.
