When is the GTA 6 leaker’s trial?
According to iGrandTheftAuto.com’s October 9, 2026 report, the trial is due to begin November 9, 2026, at Woolwich Crown Court. What happened in the earlier proceedings?
The distinction matters: prior reporting says Kurtaj was found unfit to stand trial in the earlier proceedings. The jury was asked to decide whether he had committed the alleged acts, rather than to reach an ordinary verdict on criminal guilt. Reports say a later assessment found him fit to face trial, leading to the reported conventional criminal retrial. These procedural details are based on reporting, not independently reviewed court records. BBC coverage of the earlier proceedings.
What is alleged in the GTA VI leak?
Reporting ties Kurtaj to the September 2022 theft and release of unfinished GTA VI footage from Rockstar. Accounts of the incident say he accessed Rockstar systems using a phone and a Fire TV Stick connected to a hotel television. These are allegations and reported descriptions of the case, not findings from the forthcoming trial. BBC reporting on the 2022 leak.
