What the leaked footage reportedly shows
The October 9 report says CYBERLEEK posted about 25 minutes of footage. It describes first-person views during both driving and on-foot sequences, alongside character customization, cutscenes, and other gameplay. These are descriptions of leaked material, not an official feature announcement or independently verified confirmation.

The reported first-person views are the gameplay feature behind the headline. The available account does not establish how the mode works, what settings it may offer, or whether it will be available when the game launches.

Has Rockstar confirmed first-person mode in GTA 6?
No. The October 9 report says Rockstar had not confirmed whether first-person mode would be available at launch. Until Rockstar makes an announcement, it is more accurate to call the feature reportedly visible in leaked footage than to say GTA 6 will include it.

Why a leak does not guarantee a launch feature
Footage from a game in development can show work that is unfinished or subject to change. Separate reporting on an earlier, different GTA VI leak made that general caution; it does not authenticate the October 9 footage or establish what it contains. A feature shown in development material may be changed or removed before release.
What is known about GTA 6’s release
Separate earlier reporting listed Grand Theft Auto VI for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a scheduled release date of November 19, 2026. That is secondary reporting, and release schedules can change. Check Rockstar’s current official announcement for the latest date and platform information; the leak report itself does not confirm those details.
