The account is the fan’s own; Rockstar has not publicly confirmed the shipment, and the available material does not independently authenticate the poster or the sender.
What the fan says happened
In a Reddit post published September 30, 2026, user aogustoo described sending Rockstar a “shot-in-the-dark” email asking for “a poster for my room.” The user says they expected an automated reply or no response, but that an executive answered and shipped an official GTA VI poster from New York to Brazil. The post is titled “I sent a shot-in-the-dark email to Rockstar Games asking for a GTA VI poster, and they actually shipped one from their NYC office!” Read the Reddit post.

The author says the post includes images of the poster and shipping label, with identifying details blurred, and wrote: “Definitely framing this right now!” Those statements describe what the poster says happened; they are not a confirmation from Rockstar.
What is and is not verified
The thread is a first-person Reddit account, not a Rockstar announcement. The author describes the responder as an executive, but the person’s identity and role are not verified in the post. The images the author says they shared do not independently establish the package’s origin, the poster’s official status, or who arranged the shipment.
#1 Best Overall
- 36 x 24 inches
- Ships rolled in sturdy cardboard tube
- Framed, easy hook up
- Durable fabric
- Best gift for GTA lover
Rockstar’s official Grand Theft Auto VI page does not corroborate this individual shipment or identify a fan-mail poster policy. The post also gives no basis for treating this as a regular offer or expecting similar requests to be fulfilled.
Why the story is drawing attention
The appeal is the unlikely outcome: according to the fan, a simple request crossed an international distance and resulted in a poster arriving in Brazil. The author presents it as a rare act of kindness and asks readers not to flood Rockstar’s inbox. It is best read as one fan’s account of an unusual interaction, rather than evidence of a public giveaway or a repeatable way to obtain GTA VI merchandise.
