GTA V’s Los Santos and Blaine County
GTA V takes place in Los Santos and the surrounding Blaine County. Los Santos is a fictionalized Southern California-style city, while Blaine County provides a less urban setting around the metropolitan area. Rockstar frames the campaign around three very different criminals whose ambitions collide through dangerous heists.

That combination gives GTA V a deliberate contrast between dense city streets and open county terrain. Players move between urban missions, highway travel and rural activities while the three protagonists’ personal stories converge. GTA VI’s Leonida and Vice City
GTA VI moves to the fictional state of Leonida, with Vice City as its named central city. Rockstar’s official synopsis follows Jason and Lucia after an easy score goes wrong and places them in a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state. The company describes them as people who have always known that the deck is stacked against them, which establishes a partnership-focused story rather than GTA V’s three-way protagonist setup.
Leonida signals a broader state setting, but the official information available before launch does not provide a complete list of towns, districts, islands or activity zones. Vice City is confirmed; the precise boundaries and composition of the rest of Leonida should not be treated as settled until Rockstar publishes more detail or the game releases.
Is GTA VI’s map bigger than GTA V’s?
There is no defensible official number answering that question yet. Rockstar has not published map areas in square miles or kilometres, a percentage-growth figure, or a verified statement that the new map is “twice as large.” A screenshot, trailer estimate or fan-made measurement can be interesting, but it is not an official comparison and may measure playable land, water, roads or boundaries differently.
The useful comparison is qualitative until a consistent measurement exists:

Switching characters during set pieces can place the player at different positions in the same operation, making the three-protagonist design a gameplay system rather than a purely narrative device.
On PC, the Enhanced edition adds ray-traced graphics modes, faster loading, 3D audio and DualSense features where supported by the hardware and operating system. Those upgrades make the current edition a technical step beyond the original PC release, although the underlying campaign remains GTA V’s Los Santos story.
GTA VI: Jason and Lucia’s partnership
GTA VI’s confirmed single-player premise centres on Jason and Lucia. Rockstar says that an easy score goes wrong and pulls them into a conspiracy extending across Leonida. The service’s systems have had years to accumulate content, balancing changes and quality-of-life additions.

The “up to 30 players” figure is a documented maximum for the current GTA Online product, not a promise about GTA VI. It also does not mean every activity places 30 people in one mission: activities can use smaller matchmaking groups or private sessions depending on the mode and session settings.

Rockstar’s launch and support materials confirm GTA VI’s single-player experience, platforms, editions and bonuses, but they do not publish a detailed GTA VI Online feature list. GTA V is already available on PC in Enhanced and Legacy versions. The Enhanced edition also includes ray-traced graphics modes, faster loading, 3D audio and DualSense functionality where supported. Check the current Rockstar requirements for the complete processor, graphics-card, memory and operating-system specifications before installing; the 105 GB figure is storage capacity, not a guarantee that every system will deliver a particular frame rate.
