A Walmart listing for an M8 attributed to Greatwork Official Store gives a weight of 92 lb (41.4 kg) and a maximum load of 300 lb. Listing details may vary by version, so verify those figures against the precise variant. At that listed weight, think through how you will lift, store, transport, or secure the bike before ordering.

Ask what “UL 2849 certified” means for this specific bike
Greatwork advertises UL 2849 certification, but its retrieved product page does not provide a model-specific UL Product iQ record or certification number. Treat the statement as a manufacturer claim unless you can verify the exact M8 in UL Product iQ. UL Solutions distinguishes certification of a complete e-bike from certification of an individual battery, motor, or charger; documentation for one component alone does not establish certification of the whole bike.

Where can you ride a bike advertised for 45 mph?
Do not assume the M8 is legal on public roads, bike paths, or trails everywhere. Its advertised 45 mph top speed and high motor output make local classification and intended-use rules important; requirements vary by jurisdiction and riding location. Check the rules that apply where you plan to ride before buying or using it.
Greatwork advises wearing a helmet and checking brakes, tires, battery, and fasteners before a ride. Given the listed speed and weight, make sure you can control and safely store the bike, and consider whether its capabilities match the places where you are allowed to ride.
