Gravity Circuit 2’s free demo launched on Steam on October 15, 2026. It is a single-player preview with two playable characters, two stages, Steam Achievements and roughly 20–30 minutes of gameplay for each character playthrough. The complete game is planned for PC in 2027, but an exact release date has not been announced.
What is included in the demo?
The demo introduces both of the sequel’s playable heroes and gives each one a tutorial before sending them through the opening portion of the game. You can switch between two substantially different combat approaches rather than replaying the same character with a cosmetic change.

Kai: the melee-focused Gravity Circuit
Kai is built around close-range combat. His tutorial and encounters teach a more direct rhythm: get into an enemy’s space, use the Gravity Circuit moveset and manage positioning while threats are nearby.

Cable: the long-range Power Circuit
Cable uses the Power Circuit and attacks from a distance. Her tutorial presents a different approach to movement and combat, giving players a ranged alternative to Kai’s close-quarters style. The demo confirms that Cable is playable; she is not reserved for the full release.

Two stages
The available route includes Kernel City, the opening stage, and Artificial Lake, a water-processing facility where the Hydro Circuit appears as an opponent. Together, the stages provide a short sample of the sequel’s setting, platforming and boss-focused structure.

How long does the Gravity Circuit 2 demo take?
Steam estimates 20 to 30 minutes of gameplay per character playthrough. Completing the demo with both Kai and Cable therefore gives an estimated 40–60 minutes of hands-on play, before any optional replaying, experimentation or achievement hunting. The estimate is per character, not a combined total for the entire download.

Kai or Cable: which character should you try first?

The available sources establish the characters’ melee and ranged roles, but they do not provide balance testing, damage comparisons or performance results. The demo contains three named Circuit Shards: Hydro, Edge and Thermal. They offer a limited look at the sequel’s upgrade or ability progression without representing the full game’s complete item pool.

Booster Chips
Each character has access to 10 Booster Chips in the demo. Because the preview is short, these chips are best treated as opportunities to test how the character’s options can be adjusted rather than as a complete endgame build system.

Four Burst Techniques are available for each character. Their inclusion lets you experiment with character-specific special moves during the sample stages.

How to play the demo on Steam
- Open the Steam client or visit Steam in a web browser.
- Search for Gravity Circuit 2 and open the game’s store page.
- Select the free demo option and choose the install command.
- Install it to a supported PC drive, then launch it from your Steam library.
- Start with either character’s tutorial and replay the other character’s route to see the contrasting movesets.
The demo is listed as free and includes Steam Achievements. The cited announcement does not specify a separate console version, so the confirmed demo platform is PC through Steam.

The full sequel is targeted for PC in 2027. The official project site uses the wording “COMING 2027,” while a Steam community announcement also identifies 2027 as the planned PC window. Neither cited official source gives a month, day or launch price, so any more precise date would be speculation.
