The rollout appears uneven, and reports do not confirm compatibility with Pixel Watch 3, Pixel Watch 2, or the original Pixel Watch.
Which Pixel Watch faces are reportedly arriving?
Community reports dated October 8–9 say the Google Pixel Watch Faces app update is making these faces available on Pixel Watch 4:

- Weave
- Chronograph
- Modular in multicolor
- Reveal in multicolor
- The Stephen Curry face
These are user-reported sightings, not a Google announcement. Some Pixel Watch 4 owners say they can see the update or faces, while others say neither has appeared on their device. That uneven availability means a face missing today may still arrive later; it does not establish a schedule. Community reports
How to check a Pixel Watch 4
- Open the Google Pixel Watch Faces app on your Pixel Watch 4 and check for an available update in Google Play.
- On the watch, open the face-selection screen and look through the available choices. Google’s watch-face help explains how to change a face; it describes available options generally, not compatibility for this particular rollout.
- If the new faces are not listed, check again later rather than treating their absence as a final compatibility result.
Google’s guidance also says to keep the Pixel Watch app and Google Photos app current for relevant settings. This does not guarantee that a particular face will work on a given model. Google’s Play listing for Google Pixel Watch Faces describes choosing from faces available to the user, but does not document this October rollout.

What about Pixel Watch 3, 2, and the original Pixel Watch?
The reports establish only Pixel Watch 4 as the older model receiving the faces. They do not confirm that Pixel Watch 3, Pixel Watch 2, or the first-generation Pixel Watch can use them, and they provide no official compatibility schedule for those watches. Google’s general help and app listing do not settle the model-specific question.

This is reported software availability on an existing watch, not a hardware change. The evidence supports neither a broader claim that all older Pixel Watches are getting the faces nor a claim that the faces were part of Google’s separate September 2026 software update. Availability should be judged by the choices shown on the individual watch, with the Pixel Watch 4 reports treated as reports rather than a confirmed Google-wide release.
