The advertised six-month Google One AI Plus trial with 2TB of storage is not listed for the base Pixel 9; Google specifies it for certain refurbished Pro models. Prices, stock and promotion terms can change, so check the live listing before buying.
What does the $499 refurbished Pixel 9 price include?
Google’s U.S. Google Store listing gives $499 as the starting price for a Certified Refurbished Pixel 9. The same page lists the new Pixel 9’s original retail price as $799 and describes the difference as a $300 saving. That is Google’s comparison with the original retail price, not a verified comparison with current offers from other retailers.

Does the base Pixel 9 come with the Google One AI Plus trial?
No. Google’s current page advertises a six-month Google One AI Plus trial with 2TB of storage for eligible refurbished Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 8 Pro models, not the base refurbished Pixel 9. Google says the offer is for new subscribers, is void if the phone is returned, is subject to terms and ends April 4, 2027. Confirm eligibility and terms on the listing before purchase.

What does Google Certified Refurbished mean?
Google says its Certified Refurbished devices receive multi-point quality testing, are restored with genuine Google Pixel parts when replacement parts are needed, and receive the latest applicable Google software. Google also says the phones are unlocked and compatible with any carrier. These are Google’s descriptions of its own refurbishment process, not independent quality assessments.
Testing, parts and accessories
Google Support says refurbished products are inspected and tested when needed, data-wiped, and have their batteries tested; screens and batteries are replaced with genuine OEM parts when needed. Google’s program announcement says technicians inspect the battery, housing and screens and install the latest Android software before packaging. The Store FAQ says a compatible charging cable is included. Check the specific listing for the items included with the device.
