Google Pixel 11 Pro Fast Chargers: Choose the Right 30W+ PPS Adapter

The best fast charger for the Google Pixel 11 Pro is a USB-C Power Delivery charger with Programmable Power Supply (PPS) rated at 30W or higher. That is the combination Google specifies for charging the Pixel 11 Pro to up to 55% in about 30 minutes. A higher wattage number alone is not enough: the listing must explicitly identify PPS support. Use a USB-C-to-USB-C cable, keep the phone cool, and remember that the charger is sold separately.

What to buy for the Pixel 11 Pro

Look for these words in the charger’s specifications: USB-C, USB Power Delivery (USB PD), and PPS or Programmable Power Supply. The USB-C output should be rated at 30W or more. Google identifies this as the adapter class for the Pixel 11 Pro’s advertised wired charging result. Its current technical specifications say the phone can reach up to 55% in about 30 minutes with a 30W USB-C PPS charger or higher; that result is a stated maximum under suitable conditions, not a guarantee for every battery level, temperature, cable, or adapter.

Google’s support guidance also lists its 30W, 45W, and 67W USB-C fast chargers, any PPS adapter rated at 30W or more, and other USB PD adapters rated at 15W or more as usable choices. The 15W USB PD option is a compatibility floor, not the specification tied to the advertised 30-minute result. For the direct fast-charge target, prioritize PPS at 30W or above.

Pixel 11 Pro charging figures, separated from the XL

The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL use different published charging figures. Do not use an XL charger claim as if it described the smaller Pro model.

Phone or method Google’s published requirement or limit Published result What it means when shopping
Google Pixel 11 Pro, wired USB-C PPS charger rated at 30W or higher Up to 55% in about 30 minutes Choose a charger whose specifications explicitly say PPS and at least 30W on USB-C.
Google Pixel 11 Pro XL, wired USB-C PPS charger rated at 45W or higher Up to 75% in about 30 minutes This is the XL figure; it should not be used to set the Pro’s requirement.
Pixel 11 Pro, wireless Qi2.2-certified wireless charging Up to 25W Wireless charging is a separate accessory path and does not replace the wired PPS specification.
Pixel phones generally, compatible wired option USB PD adapter rated at 15W or more Google does not tie this option to the Pro’s 55%-in-30-minutes claim It can charge the phone, but do not assume it delivers the fastest documented rate.

The figures above are from Google’s current specifications checked in 2026. Charging speed can vary with the charger’s profile, cable, battery state, temperature, and the phone’s power-management behavior.

Why PPS matters more than the wattage headline

USB Power Delivery negotiates a charging voltage and current between the adapter and phone. PPS adds programmable adjustment within the negotiated range, allowing the phone to request a suitable combination rather than being limited to a single fixed voltage step. For the Pixel 11 Pro, Google names PPS specifically for the 30W-or-higher fast-charge target.

A charger advertised as “65W” or “100W” can still be a poor match if its USB-C port does not provide PPS. Conversely, a 30W PPS charger is directly aligned with the Pro’s published requirement. Read the technical table for the exact port profile instead of relying on a product title, a picture of the box, or the maximum wattage printed on the charger.

Google’s safety and regulatory guide describes a certified USB PD 3.0 PPS adapter output for the Pixel 11 Pro of up to 11V DC at 3A. The guide lists a different maximum PPS output for the Pro XL, another reason to keep the two models separate. Review the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL safety and regulatory guide when checking electrical and safety requirements.

Charger types compared

These categories answer different needs. The first row is the straightforward choice for the Pro’s documented fast-charge result; the others are useful only when their trade-offs fit your situation.

Charger category Pixel 11 Pro fit Advantages Limitations or checks
30W USB-C PPS Direct match to Google’s stated wired fast-charge requirement Usually compact and sufficient for one phone; meets the 30W-or-higher PPS specification Confirm that PPS is listed for the USB-C port, not merely USB PD or a different port.
45W or higher USB-C PPS Compatible headroom for the Pro Can also serve other USB-C devices that need more power; may offer multiple port layouts The Pixel 11 Pro will still operate within its own limits. More wattage does not guarantee a faster result.
USB PD, 15W or higher, without stated PPS Compatible according to Google’s support guidance Works when basic charging is the priority or an existing adapter is being reused Google does not say this category achieves the Pro’s advertised 55% in about 30 minutes.
Qi2.2-certified wireless charger Separate wireless option, up to 25W No cable connection while charging; useful at a desk or bedside It is not the wired USB-C PPS path. Alignment, case thickness, ambient temperature, and the wireless accessory affect the result.
USB-A charger with a USB-A-to-USB-C cable Charges, but slower than USB-C-to-USB-C according to Google Useful for legacy ports or travel situations Not the preferred setup for the Pro’s fastest charging.

How to verify a product listing before buying

Use the following checklist on the specific model and regional listing. Charger families often contain several revisions, so do not assume that every unit with the same family name has identical output profiles.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  1. Find the USB-C output table. Look for a section labeled “Output,” “USB-C profile,” or similar. A marketing statement such as “fast charging” is not a substitute for the electrical profile.
  2. Confirm PPS by name. The specification should say “PPS” or spell out “Programmable Power Supply.” If it lists only USB PD, treat PPS as unconfirmed.
  3. Confirm at least 30W on USB-C. A charger’s combined maximum or total across all ports is not enough. The relevant USB-C port must be able to provide the required rating.
  4. Check multi-port behavior. If two devices are connected, some adapters redistribute power. Find the output table for one-port and multi-port use and verify that the phone’s port retains a 30W-or-higher PPS profile when you need it.
  5. Check the cable plan. A USB-C charger may be sold without a cable. For the preferred setup, use a USB-C-to-USB-C cable suitable for USB PD. The Pixel 11 Pro’s technical specifications list a 1 m USB-C-to-USB-C cable in the box.
  6. Check certification and ventilation guidance. Select a certified compatible adapter from a reputable seller, and avoid listings that omit basic electrical specifications or safety information.
  7. Check the exact regional version. Plug shapes, model numbers, and output tables can differ by market. Match the specification to the unit you will actually receive.

If any of these details is missing, the safest conclusion is “not established,” rather than assuming the highest number in the title represents PPS output.

30W versus higher-wattage PPS chargers

When 30W is enough

A single-port 30W PPS wall charger is the simplest choice when the Pixel 11 Pro is your main device. It meets Google’s stated threshold without paying for unused capacity, and it is generally easier to pack than a larger multi-device unit. It is also the clearest specification to search for: USB-C, PPS, 30W or higher.

When 45W, 67W, or more is useful

A higher-rated PPS adapter can make sense if you also charge a tablet, laptop, handheld console, or another phone. The extra capacity belongs to the charger; it does not override the Pixel 11 Pro’s own charging limits. The phone negotiates what it can use, so a 67W adapter should not be described as delivering 67W to the Pro.

For a multi-device charger, examine the per-port and shared-output tables. A unit may advertise 67W with one port active but provide a lower PPS profile after a second device is connected. If the phone is on a desk with other equipment, choose a layout whose simultaneous output still leaves the Pixel’s USB-C port at a documented 30W-or-higher PPS profile.

Cable choice and connection details

Use USB-C-to-USB-C from the charger’s USB-C port to the Pixel 11 Pro. Google says USB-A-to-USB-C charges more slowly than USB-C-to-USB-C. The cable in the phone’s box is listed as 1 m and USB-C-to-USB-C, so it is the first cable to try before buying another.

  • Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft

A cable can be physically compatible yet unsuitable for the desired power profile if it is damaged, poorly made, or intended only for low-power use. Keep the connectors clean and fully inserted. If a charger supports PPS but the phone repeatedly reports slow charging, swap in the included cable or another known-good USB-C-to-USB-C cable before replacing the adapter.

Cable length and routing also affect convenience and heat management. Avoid sharply bending the connector, trapping the cable under furniture, or placing the phone where the cable pulls the USB-C port sideways.

How to charge for the most consistent speed

  1. Connect the PPS charger to a wall outlet. Use the charger’s USB-C port with the PPS profile, especially on a multi-port unit.
  2. Connect a USB-C-to-USB-C cable. Use the cable supplied with the phone or a known-good replacement.
  3. Plug the cable into the Pixel 11 Pro. Ensure the connector is fully seated and the phone is not reporting an accessory or moisture warning.
  4. Remove thick insulation if heat is building. A case that traps heat can reduce charging performance. Do not place the phone under bedding or on another soft surface.
  5. Leave the phone ventilated. Google advises keeping the phone and adapter well ventilated and charging on a hard surface rather than a soft or flammable one.
  6. Minimize heavy use while charging. Gaming, navigation in direct sun, video recording, and other sustained workloads consume power and raise temperature, reducing the net battery gain.
  7. Check the result under comparable conditions. The “up to 55% in about 30 minutes” figure is a maximum-style statement. Starting percentage, battery temperature, screen activity, cable, and adapter all change the outcome.

Google notes that charging can pause if the phone becomes too warm and resumes after it cools. A pause in a hot environment is a protective behavior, not proof that the charger is defective.

Troubleshooting slow or interrupted charging

The phone charges, but not quickly

  • Recheck the listing for explicit PPS support. “USB-C” and “30W” alone do not establish PPS.
  • Move the cable to the port with the stated PPS profile. On multi-port chargers, the profile may change when another device is connected.
  • Replace a USB-A-to-USB-C cable with USB-C-to-USB-C.
  • Try the cable included with the Pixel 11 Pro or another known-good USB-C-to-USB-C cable.
  • Let the phone cool, remove a heat-trapping case temporarily, and charge on a hard, open surface.
  • Check whether the battery is already near full; charging naturally tapers as the battery fills, so a short percentage increase late in the cycle is not comparable with a low-battery start.

Charging pauses

Move the phone and adapter into a cooler, ventilated location. Google says the phone may pause charging when it gets too warm and resume when it cools. Stop using a cable or adapter that is damaged, unusually hot, smells burnt, or has a loose connector.

A charger works with another device but not as expected here

Compare protocols and profiles rather than maximum wattage. Another device may use a different voltage or charging standard. The Pixel 11 Pro needs a compatible USB PD PPS profile for the documented fast-charge target, and the phone itself controls the negotiated power.

The adapter becomes hot

Some warmth under load is normal, but the adapter must remain ventilated. Do not cover it, place it under fabric, or use it on a soft or flammable surface. If it becomes excessively hot, produces an odor, makes unusual noises, or shows physical damage, disconnect it and replace it with a certified compatible adapter.

Wired PPS versus Qi2.2 wireless charging

Choose wired USB-C PPS when charging speed and predictable power delivery are the priority. The Pixel 11 Pro’s documented wired target is up to 55% in about 30 minutes with a 30W-or-higher PPS adapter.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Choose Qi2.2-certified wireless charging when convenience, a cable-free desk, or a bedside setup matters more. Google lists wireless charging up to 25W for the Pixel 11 Pro. Wireless speed is affected by alignment, case design, ambient temperature, and the particular certified accessory, so do not compare the 25W wireless ceiling directly with the wired PPS result as if they were the same test.

Safety and compatibility rules

  • Use a certified compatible power adapter and an intact cable.
  • Keep the phone and adapter well ventilated.
  • Charge on a hard, stable surface, not on bedding, upholstery, paper, or another soft or flammable material.
  • Keep liquid away from the USB-C connector and follow any moisture warning shown by the phone.
  • Do not force a connector or continue using one that is loose, bent, frayed, or damaged.
  • Do not infer that a very high-wattage adapter will force more power into the phone. The protocol profile and the Pixel 11 Pro’s internal limits determine the negotiated rate.
  • Expect speed to vary. Google’s published 55%-in-30-minutes figure is conditional, and the company specifically notes that charger and cable choice can change charging speed.

A practical buying decision

Choose a 30W PPS single-port charger if

  • You mainly need to charge one Pixel 11 Pro.
  • You want the smallest straightforward adapter that matches Google’s requirement.
  • You do not need to power a laptop or several devices at once.

Choose a higher-wattage PPS multi-port charger if

  • You charge several USB-C devices together.
  • The specification shows at least 30W PPS remains available to the Pixel’s port during simultaneous use.
  • You are willing to check shared-output behavior instead of relying on the total wattage headline.

Reuse a 15W-or-higher USB PD adapter if

  • Basic charging is sufficient and the adapter is certified and in good condition.
  • You understand that Google does not associate a non-PPS 15W adapter with the Pro’s advertised 55%-in-30-minutes result.

Add Qi2.2 wireless charging if

  • You value drop-on charging at a desk or bedside.
  • You accept a separate accessory path and conditions that can make wireless charging slower or less consistent than wired PPS.

Bottom line for Pixel 11 Pro owners

Buy a USB-C wall charger that explicitly lists USB PD PPS and provides at least 30W on the port you will use. Pair it with USB-C-to-USB-C, keep the phone cool and ventilated, and treat Google’s “up to 55% in about 30 minutes” as a conditional specification rather than a guaranteed stopwatch result. Higher wattage is useful for other devices only when the charger still supplies the required PPS profile to the Pixel 11 Pro. The 45W-and-75%-in-30-minutes claim belongs to the Pixel 11 Pro XL, not the Pro.
