The most clearly explained early picks cover three jobs: Orpheus deals area damage, Ostara heals and buffs while mitigating damage, and Grox tanks with taunt and revival. These rankings are a dated reference, not a verified live meta: Pocket Gamer says the game was removed from the App Store and Google Play and that it stopped updating the list.
Which S+ heroes should you consider first?
Pocket Gamer’s list labels its update “October 5th, 2026” and identifies version 3.0.10. It places six heroes in S+. The list does not provide a controlled comparison of costs or performance across game modes, so use its tiers as a starting point and choose for the role your team needs.

- Need damage against groups? Orpheus is the list’s clearest S+ area-damage option.
- Need sustain and team support? Ostara combines healing with damage mitigation and buffs.
- Need a frontline anchor? Grox brings taunt and revival, according to the list.
The source names Elena, Arkanas, and Sapphira in S+, but the available descriptions do not establish their specific roles. Don’t infer a team function from their tier alone.

Which other heroes are worth considering?
Pocket Gamer also places nine heroes in S: Seraphel, Goron, Rachel, Wraith Witch, Valdedio, Throxis, Freni, Ark, and Liana. Of these, its descriptions make several useful role distinctions:
- Seraphel: a healer and revival option.
- Freni: an area-damage hero whose bleed can support silence synergy.
- Liana: a support with healing, buffs, and control resistance.
The list puts Ella, Rein, and Luna in A. It describes Luna as a source of healing and debuff dispel for early-to-mid-game teams that lack better healers. That makes her a possible stopgap, rather than evidence that she should take priority over the higher-tier healers.

How should you allocate early resources?
BlueStacks’ guide recommends building around five-star heroes and skill synergy, and avoiding investment in three- and four-star heroes you expect to replace. Treat this as third-party guidance, not a confirmed current instruction from the game’s developers. Rarity and tier are not the only considerations: a hero is more useful when its skills fill a real gap or work with abilities already on your team.
- Identify the gap. Decide whether your lineup most needs damage, healing and support, or a tank.
- Check the hero’s fit. Favor abilities that complement your existing team rather than choosing solely by a tier label.
- Be selective with scarce upgrades. If a lower-rarity hero is likely to be replaced, BlueStacks advises against committing substantial resources to it.
- Keep progression rewards moving. BlueStacks recommends collecting idle rewards before the 24-hour cap and advancing story chapters, which it says improve idle rewards and provide milestones.

Can you reset a hero and recover invested resources?
The two guides conflict, and neither establishes current in-client behavior. Pocket Gamer says an in-game Rebirth button resets an upgraded hero to level 1; BlueStacks says there is no reverse system and invested resources cannot be recovered. Pocket Gamer’s statement does not specify what, if anything, Rebirth refunds. Check the Rebirth screen and its confirmation text in your own game before spending resources you cannot afford to lose.

Pocket Gamer labels its list version 3.0.10 and gives an October 5, 2026 update date, but also says the game was removed from the App Store and Google Play and that it would no longer update the list. That makes the ranking useful as a dated roster guide, not proof of the best choices in every current client or region.

A Google Play listing titled “Gods and Demons – Idle RPG” describes a card-based AFK strategy RPG and reports an update on May 13, 2026. The available information does not establish that this is the same Com2uS game covered by Pocket Gamer and BlueStacks. A similar name or a newer-looking store page is not enough to apply one game’s hero rankings to another. The listing is available at Google Play.
