How to build a team around the strongest heroes
Start by covering the jobs a fight demands: a way to deal damage, a way to keep allies alive, and enough frontline durability or disruption to let your damage dealers act. Orpheus, Ostara and Grox provide a practical core for that approach. Fill other slots with heroes whose skills complement one another or address the encounter, rather than copying a single lineup for every stage.
Rank #2
- Ultimate Legends HD – Inosuke Hashibira delivers a high-quality figure created to look exactly like your favorite character from the popular anime series, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
- Each character in the Ultimate Legend HD series is approximately 5 inches tall with 27 points of articulation
- Ultimate Legends HD series features extra accessories and a collectible package. Accessories include 2 Nichirin Swords and an extra set of hands
- Collectible packaging with beautiful art reveal on the inside of the cover
- Recreate iconic scenes from the anime. Look for more characters from the Ultimate Legends series and grow your collection. Ages 4+
Orpheus: area-damage carry
Pocket Gamer describes Orpheus as an AoE damage dealer whose relevant skill becomes more powerful at health thresholds of 50%, then 60%, then 70% as the skill advances. Pair him with protection and sufficient healing or mitigation so he can keep contributing while the team absorbs pressure.
Ostara: primary sustain and offensive support
Ostara combines damage mitigation and healing with attack and critical-stat buffs. Pocket Gamer also notes an additional heal-and-buff effect when she dies. The ranking presents her as its strongest healer, making her a natural primary sustain choice when she is available.
Rank #3
Grox: frontline protection and disruption
Grox is described as durable, with a taunt, a curse that increases the damage enemies take after two turns, and one revive per battle. Those tools can draw pressure away from a damage-focused lineup and disrupt opponents while the curse takes effect.
Choose the remaining heroes for synergy
- Freni: Her area magic damage and bleed can create a control interaction: she can silence enemies already affected by bleed. Pocket Gamer recommends pairing her with other bleed appliers, so her value depends partly on whether your roster can trigger that condition.
- Seraphel: She heals and revives fallen allies, and Pocket Gamer presents her as a strong alternative when Ostara is unavailable.
- Liana: Her support includes healing, buffs, crowd-control resistance and debuff dispelling. Pocket Gamer says Soaring Dance gains damage reflection at level 3 and calls her especially strong in Arena.
- Ella: Pocket Gamer highlights her area true damage as useful in story mode.
- Rein: He can make additional normal attacks when allies hit an enemy and deals more damage to low-health targets. He is a better fit when teammates can trigger frequent allied hits.
These are role and interaction clues, not a complete mode-by-mode ranking. The game’s Google Play description says players can mix and match lineups and build tactics around enemy weaknesses; it calls the game an idle strategy RPG with varied stages, guild battles and a Global Arena. See the Gods and Demons Google Play listing for the developer-provided description.
Rank #4
- Ultimate Legends Demon Slayer: Akaza figure has 27 points of articulation allowing infinite posing and display options
- It is presented in a gorgeous manga-inspired package
- The Ultimate Legends brand offers entry level action figures for kids and casual fans who want to own an affordable, yet well-articulated, figure from some of the most popular anime titles
- Immerse yourself in the world of Demon Slayer and recreate the iconic battles
- The product box will have a Bandai Namco warning label, which is proof that you are purchasing an officially licensed product
Build for your roster, not an idealized tier list
A high-ranked hero is only a practical investment if you can develop and use that hero. Pocket Gamer says most Mythic heroes can work with decent synergy, but ascending heroes requires duplicates and Mythic duplicates can be difficult to obtain. That can make a compatible Legendary—or, at times, Epic—hero the more realistic choice while your roster develops.
Recommended Free Tools
The same source describes Rebirth as resetting an upgraded hero to level 1, which players can consider when reallocating early investment. It generally relegates Epic and lower-rarity characters to Codex or fodder use, but that recommendation is the author’s evaluation; the page does not provide controlled tests, resource-cost comparisons or exceptions by mode.

- Ultimate Legends Demon Slayer: Tengen Uzui figure has 27 points of articulation allowing infinite posing and display options

How to decide whom to upgrade
- Identify the fight’s main problem. Decide whether you need more damage, healing, frontline protection, control or a specific answer to an enemy weakness.
- Check skill interactions. Look for conditions your team can reliably activate, such as applying bleed before using Freni’s silence, or generating frequent allied hits to support Rein.
- Use the heroes you can actually build. Consider available duplicates and ascension prospects alongside tier placement; do not wait for a perfect Mythic lineup if a compatible hero can fill the role now.
- Match support to the mode. For example, Pocket Gamer singles out Ella for story-mode area true damage and Liana for Arena utility. The source does not provide systematic rankings for every mode, so treat these as specific recommendations rather than universal rules.
- Reassess when the encounter changes. The game advertises flexible lineups and tactics based on enemy weaknesses, so a team that works in one stage or mode need not be optimal in another.
What this tier list can—and cannot—tell you
Pocket Gamer’s version 3.0.10 list, updated October 5, 2026, is the latest located snapshot, but its publisher says it will no longer be maintained. The reviewed sources do not establish a formal tier-list methodology, independent controlled hero testing, an in-game skill database or benchmark rankings for every mode. Use its placements as editorial guidance, then make the final choice based on role coverage, skill synergy, encounter demands and investment feasibility.
Availability is also unclear across sources: Pocket Gamer says the game was removed from the App Store and Play Store, while the Google Play listing was accessible during research and displays an update date of May 13, 2026. Neither supports a universal statement about whether a player can download it now; check the store for your region.
