This is a category tracker, not a complete location-by-location guide or a full 100% checklist.
What counts toward trophies and 100% completion?
Santa Monica Studio’s support page, updated November 5, 2022, distinguishes the Raven trophy threshold from the in-game completion total: “You only need 43 to obtain the Allfather Blinded and Father and Son achievements, but to obtain 100% completion in-game, all 45 ravens are required.” See the studio’s trophy guidance.

Some third-party guides count 51 Ravens in the game overall. That larger guide count is not the official in-game 100% threshold; use the game’s realm completion summaries when tracking completion. A third-party trophy guide also reports 45 Artifacts, none missable, and says the regional map shows how many remain in an area.

The 21 Nornir Chest figure is a third-party guide count, not a realm-wide total published in the cited studio summary. Counts can serve different purposes: an overall guide count, a regional completion total, or an achievement threshold are not interchangeable.

Realm and region checklist
Tick off each category as you find it and record the progress shown in the game. The official realm summaries provide category totals for regions, but the available verified information here does not establish a complete location-by-location inventory. This checklist therefore gives you tracking fields rather than guessed locations or totals.
Midgard
Santa Monica Studio’s summary lists 17 Nornir Chests and 25 Legendary Chests in Midgard. Those are realm totals, not counts for every region within it.

Alfheim
Santa Monica Studio’s summary lists 4 Nornir Chests and 5 Legendary Chests in Alfheim.
Other realms and regions
For every other accessible area, use the in-game realm and regional summaries to fill in the totals; do not apply Midgard’s or Alfheim’s chest counts elsewhere. The studio’s realm and region guides list completion categories and totals by area.

How to identify and track the four categories
Odin’s Ravens
Look and listen for Ravens while exploring, then compare your count with the relevant regional summary. A third-party Raven guide notes that they glow green, may move within a limited area, and commonly require an axe throw to destroy; treat those as useful search cues rather than guarantees for every Raven.
Artifacts
Artifacts are a distinct collectible category, not a chest type. The third-party trophy guide reports 45 total and says none are missable. Check the regional map’s remaining count to narrow down which areas still need attention.

Nornir Chests
Nornir Chests are rune puzzles. Depending on the chest, you may need to break nearby seals, rotate symbols into the correct position, or strike bells in quick succession. A third-party trophy guide says collecting every three upgrades the rage meter; check the in-game reward and progression details rather than assuming a specific count from that general description.
Legendary Chests
Legendary Chests have their own category in the game’s realm completion summaries. Track them separately from Nornir Chests: the official Midgard and Alfheim counts demonstrate that the two categories have distinct totals.

This is not the full 100% checklist
Collectibles alone do not complete every realm. Santa Monica Studio’s completion summaries also track other goals, including Favors, lore, Mystic Gateways, shops, Valkyries, and Realm Tear encounters. Use the in-game summary to identify any remaining category after your four collectible counters are complete.
Using this checklist in practice
- Open the in-game realm or regional summary and note the displayed total for each collectible category in the area you are exploring.
- Record Ravens, Artifacts, Nornir Chests, and Legendary Chests in separate counters; do not merge chest types.
- Use the regional map’s Artifact remainder and the relevant realm guide to decide which area to revisit.
- For Ravens, keep the achievement target distinct from the 100% target: 43 for the two named achievements, 45 for in-game 100%.
- When those categories are complete, review the other completion entries in the realm summary for any remaining non-collectible goals.
A physical God of War Official Guide also exists; a guide listing describes it as more than 200 pages. It is an optional reference, not a requirement for using the in-game completion summaries.
