What was the Gjemeni Connected Couch?
Gjemeni marketed its flagship as a couch that could shift between sitting, reclining and lying flat. TechCrunch described three resting positions and power and USB access on both sides. A 2018 Brick Underground review counted four built-in USB ports and two 110-volt outlets, and described the backs and armrests moving into different configurations, including flat.

The concept was practical rather than high-tech in the software sense: it was a convertible couch with charging built into the furniture. Founder Sean Pathiratne framed the idea as a sofa that could adapt to changing activities and a connected lifestyle. That was product positioning, not evidence of a health or ergonomic benefit; the contemporary sources provide no clinical or standards-based support for such claims.

The two reviewers’ comfort impressions differed, which is a useful reminder that a range of positions does not guarantee a good fit for every body or use.

TechCrunch: useful for an office, less convincing for TV
TechCrunch’s John Biggs thought the styling, firmness and charging ports could suit a startup-office seat. He described the couch as about 6.5 feet long and said it had limited room for more than two people. At home, he found the upright back too close to a 90-degree angle for relaxed TV watching, while the reclined position put him in a posture that felt more suited to napping than watching a show. These were one reviewer’s impressions, not controlled testing or a consensus.
Brick Underground: liked the positions, even fell asleep
Brick Underground’s reviewer reported enjoying the couch’s multiple positions and falling asleep on it. That positive experience contrasts with Biggs’s difficulty finding a comfortable middle ground for TV. If you are evaluating a similar convertible sofa, the key question is not simply whether the back moves: consider whether its actual positions suit how you sit, recline or sleep.
Ports, dimensions and setup
The built-in power was one of the couch’s distinctive conveniences. Brick Underground reported four USB ports and two 110-volt outlets. Its reviewer used the USB ports to charge devices and a side outlet to run a vacuum. That is a single customer’s account of the 2018 model, not a guarantee about a current product or every delivery.

Brick Underground described the package as 81 inches long. The reviewer and a roommate moved it inside, then assembled it by clicking four legs into place and flipping the sofa upright; no tools were needed in that account. TechCrunch likewise described a couch-in-a-box design in which the legs snapped into holes underneath before the couch was turned upright. Those reports make doorway clearance and the ability to maneuver a long, bulky box important considerations for anyone shopping for a comparable sofa.

The available accounts do not explain why one reports 60 days and the other 120 days, so neither figure should be presented as definitive or current. No current Gjemeni model listing, return policy or warranty/support terms are established by these 2018 reviews.

Is the Gjemeni Connected Couch still available?
Current availability of the Gjemeni Connected Couch is not established by the sources available here. Coddle’s current catalog includes convertible sofas and sleeper sofas, but that does not prove that the Gjemeni model is in stock or that Coddle provides warranty or support for it.
