Does the GS27F16I support 180Hz?
Yes, but 180Hz is an overclocked maximum, not its listed native refresh rate. The GS27F16I is rated at 165Hz natively and can be overclocked up to 180Hz. The GS22F12I is listed at 120Hz; the 180Hz figure does not apply to it. GIGABYTE’s catalog lists the GS27F16I at 165Hz.
What changes between the two monitors?
The GS22F12I is the smaller, lower-priced option, with HDMI and VGA inputs and a 75 × 75mm VESA mounting pattern. The larger GS27F16I offers a higher native refresh rate, DisplayPort alongside HDMI, HDR10 support and a 100 × 100mm VESA pattern. The launch reports do not establish which is better value, and these specification differences are not a substitute for independent performance testing.

The 1ms MPRT figures are manufacturer or launch-material response-time claims, not independent measurements of input lag. The launch reports and catalog do not provide independent test results for motion handling, latency, image quality or gaming performance.
