First, check whether Giant Food’s service is down
On October 13, 2026, Giant Food’s official homepage displayed the notice, “Our Giant Food website and app are currently unavailable.” If both the app and website are failing, that notice makes a service interruption a reasonable possibility; it does not establish the cause of an individual problem. The notice gave no restoration estimate. Check the Giant Food homepage for the latest status before troubleshooting your device.

During that interruption, Giant Food named Instacart, DoorDash, and Uber Eats as delivery options. Coverage depends on your location, and Giant Food did not say that its digital coupons or rewards carry over to orders placed through those services. The notice said unfulfilled orders placed through GiantFood.com or the Giant Food app would be refunded, but did not specify timing or process. Keep your order details and use the current notice or Giant Food customer care for questions about a specific order. It also said stores, pharmacies, and fuel stations remained open during normal business hours.
Make sure you have the right Giant app
“Giant” can refer to two different grocery brands. The official Giant Food app supports online and in-store shopping, weekly ads, coupons, Flexible Rewards, and a digital Giant Food card; its Google Play listing showed an update date of August 7, 2026. GIANT Food Stores has separate account and rewards pages. Check the app’s full name, logo, and the store brand in your area before following account instructions.

Giant app keeps crashing or loading
The reviewed Giant Food sources do not specify a force-close, update, restart, or reinstall procedure for crashes or a loading screen. They also do not establish supported iOS or Android versions, a known login-loop fix, or whether clearing app data is safe. Avoid treating a generic phone troubleshooting step as a Giant Food-approved fix, especially if it could remove locally stored information.
- Check the service: Open the official Giant Food homepage and look for a current app or website notice.
- Compare app and website access: If both are unavailable, check the notice again rather than repeatedly reinstalling the app or changing account settings.
- Contact Giant Food if the issue persists: Use the Giant Food contact page and choose the route for online-order or account questions. Follow the live form’s instructions about what details to provide.
Giant app won’t let you log in
For the Giant Food app, use Giant Food’s official contact page for an account problem; the reviewed sources do not document a specific login-loop remedy. Do not use GIANT Food Stores’ recovery screens or phone number unless your account is with that brand.

If you use GIANT Food Stores
The GIANT Food Stores account page provides “Forgot username” and “Forgot password” options, plus secure-code sign-in. SMS verification requires a mobile number associated with GIANT Card Information; email verification requires an address in User Information. If you cannot access the configured phone or email, the page directs customers to chat or call 1-888-814-4268. Check the live page for current contact details and hours.

Giant digital coupons are missing or not working
Giant Food’s digital-coupon page says you must be signed in to clip offers. Check that you are signed in to the correct Giant Food account, then open the specific offer and review its eligibility, limits, and expiration date. The digital coupons page also provides a help path. If the offer still appears incorrectly, use the “In-Store, Rewards & Offer Questions” route on the contact page.

The available Giant Food information does not promise that a clipped coupon will immediately synchronize across the app, website, and checkout, or establish one cause for every coupon problem. GIANT Food Stores has a different rewards condition: its rewards page says weekly earning offers activate after you view them in that brand’s app or website. Do not apply that condition to Giant Food.

Giant Food’s contact page separates “Online Order & Account Questions” from “In-Store, Rewards & Offer Questions” and lists chat, order-issue reporting, email, and phone support. Choose the category that matches the problem and check the live page for current contact routes and hours. For an order affected by the outage, retain the order details; the notice did not provide a refund timetable.
