For the broadest documented game-content bundle, choose the Complete Edition. The Digital Deluxe Edition adds digital extras to the base game, while the Collector’s Edition is the choice for physical memorabilia. If you already own the game, compare the Complete Edition Upgrade price with the cost of buying the full edition in your regional store.
Which Ghost of Yōtei editions are available?
The original lineup comprised Standard, Digital Deluxe, and Collector’s Editions. PlayStation’s later Complete Edition announcement adds a fourth option to consider. The original options are listed by PlayStation Support; the Complete Edition and upgrade are described in PlayStation’s August 2026 announcement.

What comes with each edition?
Standard Edition
Standard includes the full game. It is the straightforward option if you do not need the Digital Deluxe items or the Collector’s physical objects.

Digital Deluxe includes the full digital game and The Snake armor, a Digital Deluxe armor dye, a Digital Deluxe horse and saddle, a sword kit, an early unlock for Traveler’s Maps, and a charm. PlayStation lists a paid upgrade from Standard. The extras are digital; this edition does not include the Collector’s physical memorabilia. See PlayStation’s edition details.

Collector’s Edition
The Collector’s Edition includes a digital game voucher and digital items: the Atsu + Yōtei Six avatar set, an in-game mask, The Snake armor, armor dye, horse and saddle, sword kit, early unlock for Traveler’s Maps, and a charm. Its physical contents are a Ghost mask, sash, tsuba, papercraft Ginkgo tree, art cards, and Zeni Hajiki coin game and pouch. The US listing describes these items at PlayStation Direct.
The digital items are delivered by voucher code; redemption requires an internet connection and PlayStation account. If buying second-hand, check that the seller is legitimate, the listed physical contents are present, and any included code has not already been redeemed.

The US PlayStation Store listing also itemizes an in-game mask and Charm of Amaterasu. Check the product listing in your own region for the current contents and price.
What should you buy?
- Choose Standard if you want the base game and do not value the listed Deluxe extras or Collector’s objects.
- Choose Digital Deluxe if the digital cosmetic items and early map unlock matter to you, but physical memorabilia do not.
- Choose Collector’s if the mask, sash, tsuba, papercraft tree, art cards, or coin game and pouch are the reason you are buying. For resale, verify contents and voucher-code status.
- Choose Complete if you are a new buyer who wants the broadest documented set of game content and Digital Deluxe items in one bundle.
- If you already own the game, compare the upgrade price with the full Complete Edition price in your regional store before purchasing.
What existing owners should know about the Complete Edition
In its August 2026 announcement, PlayStation listed the Complete Edition at $69.99 USD and the Complete Edition Upgrade at $14.99 USD. These are US announcement prices, not a guarantee of current pricing elsewhere. The announcement also said that owners without the Digital Deluxe Edition and Charm of Hokkyokusei would immediately unlock that content when pre-ordering the upgrade. Check your local store for the applicable offer and price.

The announcement scheduled Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted for patch v2.0: October 1, 2026 globally, and October 2 in some territories, including Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. PlayStation also said the patch would bring Beauty of Yōtei mode, Watanabe Mode tracks, quality-of-life options for armor appearance and stat selection, and a high-contrast accessibility option to existing owners without requiring the upgrade. These patch features are distinct from buying the upgrade for its bundled content.
The announcement’s Sakai Armor early-unlock offer required a digital purchase by September 30, 2026. That deadline has passed, so it should not be treated as an available bonus.
