Echoes of Sekigahara
This is a narrative expansion that moves between the present and flashbacks to Atsu’s time on the mainland. It introduces Nagato, a previously unseen valley associated with the Snake and Vipers, and depicts part of Atsu’s past during the Battle of Sekigahara. Sucker Punch Senior Communications Manager Andrew Goldfarb described it as “our new narrative expansion” in the August 12, 2026 announcement.

Most Wanted
Most Wanted is a single-player roguelike combat-survival mode. Choose bounties, fight enemy waves and minibosses, and earn perks and upgrades. PlayStation’s mode page names four playable characters: Atsu, Oyuki, Nagato, and Jin.
Ghost of Yōtei Legends
Legends is online co-op for up to four players. PlayStation Plus is required for online multiplayer and is sold separately, according to Sony’s US Store listing.

Is the Complete Edition worth it if you already own the game?
The US Store listed the Complete Edition Upgrade at $14.99 on October 3, 2026. Sucker Punch describes the upgrade as an option for existing owners; it adds the expansion and Most Wanted mode. Check the listing in your own region before buying, since the displayed price and availability can change.
Before purchasing, separate paid content from what owners received in the v2.0 update. Sony says the October 1, 2026 patch also added Beauty of Yōtei, Watanabe Mode tracks, the ability to use one armor set’s appearance with another set’s stats, and a high-contrast accessibility option. These patch additions were available to owners without buying the Complete Edition Upgrade. Patch availability was listed for October 1 globally, with October 2 in some territories, including Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The official announcement has the update details.

For the current digital package and upgrade, start with the PlayStation Store US listing; it reflects the US region, not a guaranteed price elsewhere. Sony’s 2025 launch announcement gives the historical US launch MSRPs for the earlier editions, while PlayStation Direct’s Collector’s Edition page lists the physical collectibles.

PlayStation UK confirms a Standard Edition Blu-ray purchase option, but the official pages reviewed do not establish that a Complete Edition disc is available. Do not assume that a marketplace listing for a physical copy includes the Complete Edition’s expansion or modes; verify the exact contents and region with the seller. The PlayStation UK page confirms the Standard Blu-ray option.

Is the Sakai Armor still an early-unlock bonus?
No. The Sakai Armor early-unlock promotion ended on September 30, 2026, so it should not be treated as an active offer. The Complete Edition listing’s named contents remain the items listed above; do not confuse the expired promotion with a current bonus.
